Stealing from the Boys
It’s no secret that I love menswear. Yes, I enjoy looking at it, but I adore wearing it even more. There is just something about a men’s shirt that feels good. From the runway, to sorority girls, over sized tops are on trend right now, so you can’t go wrong with them. Not only are they comfortable, but chic as well!
Here’s a breakdown of my go-to cold weather-comfy clothes:
Sweater |
I own this sweater in multiple colors because it’s too good not to. Why leave all the good sweaters to the guys? A blend of cashmere and cotton is perfect for layering in the winter or pairing with skinnies in the early spring. Vest |
Surprise, surprise, this men’s vest is wonderful. But then again, J. Crew can do no wrong. It has deep pockets that will definitely hold your iPhone Plus, your lipstick, and your keys. Oh, and with its quilted pattern, it keeps you super snug.
Scarf |
This is my favorite scarf right now. It is the softest, warmest, cutest thing I have ever seen. They’re sold out right now, but you can sign up for the wait list and they will let you know when it is back in stock.
Jeans |
With a small waist and big hips, jeans were a struggle until I tried these. They fit great and look great. I’m not sure what more you could want in a jean!
Boots |
Classic black boots will never go out of style and these are on point, especially for my rather narrow feet. If you’re not buying them now, you will later. You’re welcome.
Socks |
I think it’s important that every girl own black over the knee socks. They are a staple if you’re frequently reaching for boots in your closet. And with these early cold fronts we are having, who isn’t?
Ring |
Pearls have made a effortlessly classy statement for ages and this sweet ring is just a continuation of that trend.
Earrings |
Pearl studs are great and worth investing in. Need a reason to wear them? Read the above statement again.
Bracelet |
I obviously love bow ties since I make them, so this bracelet is the perfect example of stealing from the boys.
Audrey Hepburn is my muse and these sunglasses literally make me feel like her. They are my favorite pair and I get compliments on them wherever I go.
Earmuffs |
I bought these fox fur earmuffs while on a trip in Montreal and to this day, they are still one of my favorite souvenirs. Fur is so in right now (sorry not sorry PETA) and they are so fluffy and warm.
My all time favorite brown-red blend that is perfect for fall!
