I'm not sure why, but I had a thing for pencil skirts in college. So much so, that I haven't bought a new one in a while ( a perfect example of this, is the one I'm wearing in my photos today).
My waist and hip sizes are on two very opposite ends of the spectrum, so often times it is hard to find a skirt that meets me in the middle. The J. Crew No. 2 Pencil skirt was the answer to my prayers. Until I found it, my favorite skirts were the ones that I made myself with a pattern specifically made for me...and I no longer have time for that! Not to mention that J. Crew's come in fun colors and bold prints. J. Crew Factory also has some that are cheaper. They do not fit as well, but they aren't horrible.
