I began LMents of Style strictly as a fashion blog, but over the years have switched more to lifestyle content. My professional background is rooted in clothing and I still have passion for it, so today I’m excited to introduce you to The Classic T-Shirt Company.

My degree is in apparel merchandising. Having worked in wholesale and retail, I am very aware of pricing, producing, and all the work that goes into making clothing. Not many clothes are made in America anymore, but of the small number that are, a lot of them are made in Los Angeles. Having lived here for over a year now, I feel a special connection and a pull to promote brands that are keeping jobs here and creating stellar product.

The Classic T-shirt Company is a wonderful brand that makes and sells premium t-shirts. I could go on and on about why I like them, but I’m going to make it easy for you and just use a bulleted list.

I don’t know if it is quarantine or what, but all I want to wear right now is a t-shirt and jeans. I’m so happy to support a great brand while living my comfy dreams! It may seem like nonchalant list above, but it is actually a big deal. If it doesn’t impress you, how about the fact that their cotton uses 70% less water than conventional cotton? Fashion is a devastatingly dirty business for our world, so this is actually huge. Additionally, most brands are not made in the USA, nor are they ethically or sustainably made. Honestly, for the quality and price, The Classic T-shirt Company tees are a great deal. Both long sleeves and shorts sleeves are under $60 and I’d expect to pay $75+ or more for them.
