Happy September! August honestly felt long, but honestly everything is a blur after my birthday. This month will be a fun one, because fall begins! i’m happy for cooler temperatures, but it is supposed hit 100 over the weekend on both Saturday and Sunday. WHAT?! Luckily we are moving into a unit with AC mid-September!! I can’t believe it, but we will have been in LA for a year come the end of the month. Considering we were barely here for 6 months before quarantine happened, we haven’t been able to explore as much as we wanted. We are doing a little LA anniversary trip to Silver Lake mid-month and I’m so excited! Looking forward to sharing more soon. Until then, enjoy my monthly favorites! Madewell Linen Dorsett Blazer. (c/o) I know Labor Day is coming up, but here in LA you can pretty much wear white all season long, or at least through fall ;) Winter white is a vibe and I am here for it. I most recently styled it for you here. Lucky you, it is currently on sale for under $80!
Satin Bandana. I’m going to style this for you soon, but silk-like scarves are all the rage right now. Wear them as a top or wear them in year hair. Bonus! Tie it on your handbag. This one isn’t silk, but it looks and feels like it though! Under $20 and so cute - I already want it in another color.
Gigi Pip Ginger Gambler Hat. (c/o) I had never worn a gambler hat before this month and what can I say? It is fun! Styled it for you here. It’s currently on sale for under $75! Will be perfect for fall. You can also use discount code ELLEMULENOS10!
Primally Pure Summer Home set. I gave a review here of the collection, but basically Primally Pure’s new home collection is awesome and perfect as we wave goodbye for summer. I think the room spray is my favorite, but the essential oil and hand soap are great too! Get 10% off with discount code ELLEMULENOS. If you’re looking for a scent that is less summery, they actually just launched a Palo Santo line.
Chiffon Camisole. This was the only fashion item I purchased from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. Basic, but great. I bought it in black, but it also comes in white. Perfect for layering as we head into cooler months. Style it under a cardigan or under your moto jacket. See it styled here.
Straw Sun Visor. My family and Nick said this looks like a “mom” hat, but I love it! It’s so practical because it fits in your beach bag and is big enough to keep the sun off your face. Did I mention it is right under $20?
Madewell Rainbow Marled Sweater. (c/o) THIS IS MY FAVORITE SWEATER RIGHT NOW. I love the texture and drape. It is the perfect amount of oversized fit, without being too baggy. It is a great neutral, so it goes with anything. Plussss it is on sale for under $40.
Paige Raeanne Sweatshirt. I bought this for myself as an accidental birthday gift. It is the perfect crop and softness. I bought a large because it is the only one they had left in store, but I’m happy with the oversized fit. Will be wearing this all fall and winter. SO happy sweatshirt season is almost here!!
Puracy Hand Soap. (c/o) We use Puracy’s dishwasher pods and dish soap, but until recently I hadn’t tried their hand soap. It is great! My favorite scent is citrus and sea salt, though all of them smell good.
Gucci Dionysus Mini Leather Chain Bag. Nick surprised me with this for my birthday! I originally thought I’d want to exchange it for a different color, but the cream color is actually so good! A great update to my usually black or brown bags. Thinking about doing a YouTube Review of it! Let me know if that is something you’d be interested in.
