Happy (almost) New Year! I guess it depends when you read it, but this will be my final post of 2015. I'm so happy I get to end it with a Southern Elle Style Shop Share! If you're new here, I do a Shop Share every Friday. I have a passion for small businesses and love sharing my findings with others! I've covered everything from food, to apparel, to tech items. This week, I'm sharing Grand Slam Glam, a DFW based  team who have all your hair + makeup bases covered!

Grand Slam Glam is run by several talented ladies! The brainchild behind the name is Jordan Bawcom, as her husband plays professional baseball! I absolutely love her play on words with all her services. They totally follow the baseball theme and the website is just the cutest! Though I knew of Jordan since college (she did pageants with several of the girls I was a Tri Delta with), I only had the pleasure of meeting her in person a couple years ago. We first met through a previous job, but kept bumping into each other through local Dallas events. That led to her asking me to do this photo shoot, about two-three months ago! (You might remember it from this instagram post!) It's very common for people in the wedding industry to do styled shoots, so they can share ideas and also have the opportunity to be featured by larger vendors and magazines. This shoot was done at the White Sparrow Barn, in Quinlan, Texas, which is about 45 minutes outside of Dallas. (I listed the other participating vendors directly under the photos

On the day of the shoot, Jordan did my hair, and her sister Reilly (also a member of the GSG team) did my makeup. They not only made me look flawless, with their crazy skills, but they are also simply amazing people. Jordan has an infectious laugh that makes you feel so warm and welcomed, while Reilly is hilarious and so fun to be around. In today's day and age, I find it a rarity that you find such genuine people. together, in a room, which such awesome abilities. I would recommend them to anyone!

This was obviously a wedding shoot, but they are available for all kinds of events. They do senior portraits, dances, parties, you name it! One of my favorite services they offer, is on location. They will come to wherever you are, so you can get ready and relax. If you have ever been a part of a wedding or anything that gets stressful, you know how much of a blessing it is to already be at your destination for the evening. So, if you are looking for a glam team for your upcoming event, you already found your squad ;)
