Like I said in my Spring Break Cover Up Guide earlier this week, even though I don't have a Spring Break anymore, that doesn't mean I can't pretend ;) (though I am going to Fredericksburg this weekend!) This week's Southern Elle Style Shop Share fits in perfectly with that statement...enter, Larimar Jewelry.
Larimar Jewelry makes all of their pieces from the Larimar stone, found only in the Caribbean waters of the Dominican Republic. Legend has it, that it was originally part of Atlantis. That, coupled with the fact that it is formed from volcanic activity, leads most to believe that it has healing powers, as well the ability to aid in expression of emotions, and in balancing of water and fire energy. Now, whether it does or not, I'll let you decide; however, one thing we can agree on, is how beautiful it is!
Some call it the Atlantis Stone, others call it the Dolphin Stone. Honestly, I don't care what they call it, I'm just glad I have it! It may look like it is just normal turquoise jewelry, but it's not. It has a milky, soft coloring, that is exceptionally exquisite! It is the perfect pop of color for this spring and summer, for sure. If I'm at the office, at least my ears can pretend that they are on a beach!
