I’m coming off of my sister’s bachelorette weekend and finally settled (and recovered) back in LA. I’ll share more about her disco cowgirl themed girls weekend later. Until then I thought it was a great time to show her moody save the dates from Minted. She is getting married in April and is going for a more jewel toned look of rusts, browns, and greens. Those hues are typically used at more of a fall wedding, so it was kind of hard to find save the dates and invitations that fit the theme. The beauty of YOUR wedding is that it gets to be what YOU want it to be, regardless of what is traditional or might seem normal. Luckily Minted lets you customize to your hearts desire and she was able to find the perfect look for her big day.

Minted Simple Celebrate Save the Date Cards (c/o) | Cream Bunny Tail Mini Pampas Grass

It’s no secret that I love Minted. I used them for my wedding 5+ years ago and still use them for other special occasions like Christmas cards, birthday cards, and even Valentine’s Day cards. Most recently I utilized them for our baby announcement cards. When my sister was trying to figure out what to do regarding save the dates and wedding invitations, I told her unequivocally Minted was her source! They have so many great features that make your life easier such as guest addressing; but, also fun details like seals, stickers, and envelope liners. My favorite benefit of using them has nothing to do with their paper goods at all… it is their Address Assistant. I use it as my home base for all addresses, so when I need someone’s they are all in the same place and they are ready for me to send cards to at the drop of a hat.

I know that save the dates might seem like an extra expense*, but they are wonderful to give… and receive! I love knowing the date ahead of time so I can make sure I can attend. I also love seeing the couple’s style portrayed on paper, then of course proudly displaying it on my fridge! Minted does actually offer magnet save the dates if you want to ensure your spot in the family kitchen. I love the simple celebrate card that my sister chose because it is elegant an understated, yet beautiful.

*if you’re looking to save money, try making the card a postcard! It is usually cheaper than an envelope set AND you can buy special postcard only stamps that are cheaper than the forever stamps.

I hope this inspires you for your wedding or future wedding (hit that Pin it button!), but more than that I hope you have a beautiful wedding DAY. It is easy to get swept up in all the details and forget the true meaning of the moment. The wedding day is fleeting, but the marriage is an actual lifetime. If you’re feeling sad or overwhelmed, focus on what matters most! XOXO
