Unless you have been doing a lot of yoga like me, or choose to live in leggings, you probably havenā€™t even thought about touching them this summer. Well, September is finally here and in Texas one of the things that means is that is that leggings season is upon us. They are easy to throw on, are pretty much accepted anywhere, and are just downright comfy. Buuuut not all leggings are create equal. Whether they are see through or wear too quickly, today we decided to share our favorite work-out leggings. Last month we shared our favorite sports bras, so this is basically part II.

A little behind the scenes here, we actually shot July, August, and September, back in June!! We have busy schedules and meeting once to knock out 3 months is killing 2 birds with 1 stone. Or should I say 3 birds?! We are meeting next Sunday to shoot October, November, and December and Iā€™m so excited! Whatā€™s somewhat funny to me is that in these pictures I had just gotten my hair cut and it has since grown out. This week Iā€™m getting my hair cut again, so it will still look just as short. I know pictures freeze moments in time, but these kind of feel like memories of my hair cuts. Hah!

Okay now for what you came forā€¦ leggings! I want to preface this by saying 3/4 of us are wearing Lululemon. When lulu first came out, I was hellbent on not wearing them. I didnā€™t think I needed to spend ā€œthat much moneyā€ on something like that. Wellll let me tell you, I have since been converted. I have this ā€œHalloween Candy Theoryā€ that is essentially when you buy cheap candy, it just gets thrown in the trash. Personally, Iā€™d rather spend a little more on something and have people actually use it, than waste my money on trash bag fillers. When I bought lulus, I found myself always reaching for them, because they were my favorite. They are good quality, so they last and are worth it in my opinion. Iā€™d rather save for 3 months and buy the longer lasting leggings, than buy a lesser quality pair and have to buy another in 3 months. Ya feel me? So, without further ado, hereā€™s our favorite leggings!

Also, I little side note,I love the pair iā€™m wearing, because they are compression, so they hold me in. Ever since I injured my knee and hip, I like the stability compression gives me. I also love that they have a side pocket that my phone fits in. (Ginger is showing off that hers have a side pocket too, in the pic below!). The pocket is great for walking around the gym, when you donā€™t have a free hand, and especially for travel. These compression leggings on an airplane are great, because personally I feel like they give me the benefits of compression, without having to wear the socks ;) I love these for yoga, but also for HIIT, and just plain running While some of my favorite leggings are better for just yoga or being worn around the house, I feel like these are great because they are multi-purpose!
