Nope, you're mind isn't playing tricks on you. You're definitely having deja vu ;) Yesterday I talked about mules and today I'm talking about loafers. Not only that, but today's shoes are loafer versions are yesterday's mules!

Okay, but it's really not a new thing! I bought these brown ones to replace a pair I have had since I was 17...so almost 10 years ago! When I bought them, my friends made fun of my saying that they looked liked grandma shoes...I mean if by grandma shoes you mean comfortable, then yes! Grandma shoes they are then. Loafers are typically comfy AND cute, but now they back to being chic, too. I never really thought they went out of style though, so I guess the right word would just be mainstream.
I recently wore these to an NYE party instead of heels. They were perfection! Loafers have a way of being great for casual and fancy events, which makes them versatile and worth the investment! Here are my favorite loafers out there right now. You can shop them via the widgets, under the photo.

Side note, the black dress I'm wearing in this post is my current favorite LBD. It can be styled many different ways and the material has the best drape!
