What to do if you only have 20 minutes to Work Out

20 Squats

20 Lunges on each side

20 Floor Touch Jump Squats

20 Walk-Out Push Ups

20 Jumping Jacks

20 Step Ups on each side

20 Leg Lifts on each side

20 Chair Dips

20 Chair Dips with an Extended Leg on each side

20 One Leg Teasers on each side

20 Seated Lateral Twists

20 Mountain Climbers on each side

20 Plank Leg Lifts on each side

Hold a plank for 1 minute

You're done! Now repeat, until your time is up!

Believe it or not, I actually shot this in late September. WHAT? If that isn't proof that I'm one of the people who only had 20 minutes to work out the latter half of the year, then I don't know what is! I actually hadn't worked out since my wedding day, but broke that record, but going for a jog on January 2nd. PTL!

Kami of The Kalon Life, is actually one of my real life besties! She is a licensed personal trainer, in the Dallas area and just all around a great and encouraging person. Late last year I got the idea for this post...I was struggling finding time to work out and I figured others were too. I presented her with this idea and bada bing, bada boom. Here we are! This workout does a little bit to your entire body, so one part isn't left out in the cold. Often times I'm tempted to just get in a mile or something "easy", when really, something like this would be much more beneficial to me.

  • 20 Squats
  • 20 Lunges on each side
  • 20 Floor Touch Jump Squats
  • 20 Walk-Out Push Ups
  • 20 Jumping Jacks
  • 20 Step Ups on Right Side
  • 20 Step Ups on Left Side
  • 20 Leg Lifts on Ride Side
  • 20 Leg Lifts on Left Side
  • 20 Chair Dips
  • 20 Chair Dips with an Extended Leg on Right Side
  • 20 Chair Dips with an Extended Leg on Left Side
  • 20 One Leg Teasers on Right Side
  • 20 One Leg Teasers on Left Side

I know this Friday post is a little shorter than most,  but i feel like it is to the point and on point! I thought it was the PERFECT time to post, because yes, it is the new year, BUT we are all human and all fall off our goal train. If you miss something one day, it isn't the end of the world. If you hit snooze one too many times, but still want to get a work out in, this is it! You don't even have to be at the gym to do it! You do have to roll out of bed, though ;)
