April - the one that got away! I traveled for the first half and have somehow had no less than 3 different colds + a stomach bug, but here I am! Besides LA, I’ve been to NYC, Dallas, and Austin, so I guess I shouldn’t feel bad that this is so late… or at least is later than I’m used to doing it. I did a lot this month! Just not as much on the “personal life productive” front. Anyway, here are some of my (recent) favorite things. Enjoy!!

  1. Wrist Bands for Face Washing. Seems silly, BUT they work. Nick gets annoyed when I splash water all over the counter (on accident) and these help catch all of it. I will say they are slightly annoying because I wish they dried a little faster, but that could be a me problem. Either way, they keep your sleeves / clothes from getting wet AND they keep your counters clear. My daughter likes to wear them around her legs like anklets - dual purpose!

  2. Lunya Organic Cotton Pajamas. (c/o) I love Lunya silk, but there is something about their new, organic pima cotton! My mom, sister, and I have their shorts sets in dulcet petal (light pink) and they are so good. Perfect for summer! Use my code ELLEMULENOS for a discount on your Lunya purchase.

  3. Strider Bike. (c/o) Our kids love to ride their bikes and Strider bikes makes that transition from tike to 2 wheels a lot easier. They build balance bikes that help kids find their core (and balance,) which means a lot less tears and more confidence to ride, no training wheels required.

  4. Storage Cabinet. Our place isn’t small by LA standards, but we don’t have a lot of space, especially for a family with twins. I am constantly looking for ways to make the most of our space, especially in our kitchen area. We recently purchased this cabinet as a pantry of sorts and it has made our lives and counters, so much better.

  5. Steelmade flat top. I was cooking on this earlier this week and decided to share it, because it is such a favorite of ours. It makes it easy really easy to make breakfast for a lot of people or just multiple things for you all at once. Yes, eggs and bacon and pancakes, but also think burgers and buns too! We have the regular (not pre-seasoned) and we didn’t get the bag, though it would probably make storing it easier. If you don’t have a grill or space for a grill, this is a great work around, especially as we get into grilling season!!

  6. Uncrustables Cookie Cutter. I purchased these to make homemade “uncrustable” sandwiches. The funny thing is that one child likes them, and the other peels them apart and eats them separately. Either way, I think they were a good buy, because not only are they great cookie cutters, but they also are fun to play with kinetic sand and playdough. I have some plastic versions and some metal versions. We also have this set - for some reason they don’t sell Mickey and Minnie together, and you know I had to get both!

  7. Omnilux Clear Mask. I have heard great things LED and have used LED beds in spas, but haven’t had my own to have consistent use. I have been using it everyday for 10 minutes for about 1.5 months now. I have the acne specific one, but they offer other products as well. Mine specifically combines red and blue light, which is better for combatting acne. I still have some blemishes here and there, but I truly believe that it has lessened the lifespan of my breakouts and helped with scarring. Use this link + code LMENTS10 for 10% off your order!

  8. Mott and Bow Womens’ Boxy Cut Tees. (c/o) T-shirts are hard to come by, as they can make you look sloppy. I like how these fit and offer a more trendy body, without exposing too much midriff. They of course offer regular body styles too. Nick has the mens’ versions and really likes them! We size up in the tees for him, but I order my regular size.

  9. Renee Rouleau Pore and Wrinkle Perfecting Serum. I’ve been in the process of updating all of my skincare and I have been really liking this. It is an acid base, so I only use it 2-3 times a week, but it has been working well for me so far. I first purchased after having a free skincare consultation from Renee Rouleau. They have a lot of great products, I was just a bit confused on which one would be best for my skin, so that really helped. I actually just repurchased! I am hoping to see even more results on my second bottle.

  10. Renee Rouleau Skin Correcting Serum. I use this on all the off nights from the pore and wrinkle perfecting serum. It feels really nourishing and I like how quick drying it is. I also just purchased my second bottle of this and am excited to see what consistently using this looks like.
