Bikini Guide
Off the Shoulder One Piece | Pom Pom Hat | Karen Walker Sunglasses (budget version here)
I love a good one piece!! I could never wear the cute ones that have all the cut-outs, because i would end up with some weird sunburn pattern all over my body!! This suit actually has bad reviews, but I'm not sure why. I ordered a size 8 (I'm 5'8", 130lb, and have a long torso) and it fit like a charm!! I will say that it is a traditional off the shoulder piece, so if you don't like off the shoulder shirts, you won't like it. Overall, I thought it was super flattering.
Crochet Bikini Top and Bottom | One Piece version | BaubleBar Earrings | Swell Bottle
Okay I adore this two-piece!! I ordered a size small in the top and a medium in the bottom - I thought it ran true to size. The top is high neck, which I love!! The bottoms were the real winner. They are hipster fit and felt SO good. Swim bottoms are hard in general for me, because of my backside ;) These were actually comfortable. I think the color and texture is what drew me to this suit. I'm so glad it was actually comfy too!
Floral Bikini Top and Bottom | One Piece version | Strappy top version | Coverup version | Ray-Ban Sunglasses (budget version here) | BaubleBar Earrings
This is a cheeky bikini, if you are looking for that! I got a small in the top and a medium in the bottom. I'm just not that comfortable showing that much cheek, but honestly it was really cute! The material is soft and stretchy - I LOVED how the top fit. There is not any padding and it hugs your natural curves. It is definitely an au natural type of suit!

Okay so those are just a couple of suits that caught my eye this resort season! I know it is a little early to talk about swim, but spring break is just around the corner!! Just kidding. I don't get that anymore...I actually cheated myself out of my last SB by graduating early. Oh well! I'm headed to Laguna Beach in February, so swimwear is heavy on my brain! Gotta find the cutest ones!! Here are a few of my go-to places to look for swimsuits.
American Eagle Aerie Swim - Honestly I just love AE. (professed that here) They have a "real" campaign where they don't retouch any of their images and feature all body types. Their swim is mainly what I brought on my honeymoon. They have ALL the basics you need, plus trendy pieces too! They also feature patterns across different silhouettes, like a traditional cut bottom, a hipster bottom, and a cheeky bottom. You are bound to find something you like there and you'll love the price too. They have frequent sales. I have my eye on this one! If you have a Shop Runner account, you can get free 2-day shipping, so it's great if you need one in a bind.
Target Swim - I've shopped Target's swimwear for years! They also have a similar "real" campaign, too! Last year they came out with missy fit swimwear, which I thought was really neat! They have all the trends and the prices where you need them; however, it might be better to shop them online than in store. Sometimes the matching pieces are hard to find.
Nordstrom Swim - I just like Nordstrom in general! It is my go-to store because they always have good inventory and offer quality pieces. They have your price-point options, but have the high-end stuff too! You can't go wrong shopping there. I prefer online, just because I don't have a lot of time to shop in-store and they have free shipping!
Want to see a few of my top picks this season? I shopped around and found some I liked in all different silhouettes and under $100! Some overlap, but I separated them by category. Scroll around - there's something for everyone. Enjoy!!

The best part about shopping for swimwear now, is that not only do you get the cream of the crop, but a lot of retailers usually have them on sale! Do you have any favorite brands or styles I missed? Let me know. Don't forget the sunscreen! (read my SPF tips here)
