I chopped down this 11 foot tree last weekend. Just kidding…I didn’t do that, but I did help my boyfriend pick it out. We named it Shawn Oakman in honor of its size and Baylor’s win. I thought the naked tree would be a perfect backdrop for this gingham top.
Don’t get me wrong, I love a good flannel plaid, but check is often overlooked and I don’t know why, because it’s so easy to wear! While a flannel is usually a casual piece, you can work gingham any way you want it. Pair it with a pencil skirt and booties for a business casual day at the office or wear it with your favorite boyfriend jean (and of course you’re boyfriend) for a weekend away.
Merry almost Christmas!
