It’s been a minute since I’ve shared some Art of Versatility with you; however, as the world begins to open up more, I know that we will all start wearing more real clothes. Heck, based on like to know it sales, dresses and such are trending, as are they in the search bar through the app. People are looking to switch out of their yoga pants and to be honest, I don’t blame them.
I normally take these photos outdoors, but thought it would be fun to take mirror selfies this go around. It’s obviously easier, but also cool so you can get use to seeing my new apartment! Today I’m going to be styling this olive midi dress with the sweetest little florals. I typically opt for tank or cami style dresses, but I actually really like the sleeves on this! The pattern does consist of flowers, but the color palette lends itself to fall. This make it pretty much season-less! Wear it in spring, summer, and fall! Maybe winter too, depending on where you live ;)

First I styled it for work or a luncheon…pretty much a classic way to style it. I have some nude flat sandals that I toyed with picturing instead; however, I figured you know how to style a dress with slide sandals and that’s not why you’re here! To elevate it even more, I would have opted for my high heel ankle strap sandals. In the fall months, I’d probably grab my favorite tan duster cardigan in case it got a bit chilly. It’s practical and adds a fun texture to the outfit. Pairing a nude-y color with this dress is a safe and timeless option.
Second I styled it a tad more sporty. I’m a big fan of the sneaker + dress look, so I love this look for a comfy chic vibe. In the spring and summer, you can pair white sandals or heels with it, for a dressed up summery look. Overall I want you to se the different neutrals you can wear with this dress and how it changes it totally!

Lastly I styled the dress with more of an edgy vibe. I LOVE my doc martens for their look and their comfort. I paired my leather moto jacket with it as well, for a full on fall look; however, I wore this exact outfit yesterday without the jacket and with chunky gold jewelry and it still held up!

Which was your favorite? As you’re shopping this season, make sure to consider how versatile something is. You will get a lot more bang for your buck and be able to style your own closet more instead of constantly buying new things. Happy styling and shopping!! XOXO
