Woowee! I need to do these more often, so I don't have like 50 pictures for y'all ;) With 3-4 Instagram photos a day, I need to start doing them once a month! I wanted to do this, so you could see/shop my instagrams because the dumb algorithm has changed and you don't see everyone you follow, but ALSO, so I could chat with you, in just a normal post form!
Y'all might have noticed that since I have changed my blog name, I have done much more lifestyle content...which was kind of the point of my re-brand. I have still included clothes and stuff like that, but I haven't done a strictly fashion post in a while! So, here you go, friends!
You may or may not have noticed that I have kind of fallen off the snapchat train, but it's really because I've been so busy! With my normal job, this blog, and the wine bar (you can check out the website for Neighborhood Cellar here!), I have barely had time to sleep! I've done more on Instastories, but that is just for the sheer fact that it is easier, for now! I used to wake up around 5 am, but as of late, I haven't been able to get up before 6:30am! Here's to hoping to I can get up an hour earlier this week - praying this is the week! It has also affected my fitness journey - I haven't run in 2 months, though I have managed to do CorePower Yoga once a week, which is my FAVORITE. I always feel better when I work out, so I desperately trying to get back on track. Summer bod here I come;)
In regard to our apartment, we hosted our first guest this weekend - Nick's dad! We have been leaving here since last November (I actually moved here in July) and we still have yet to have a housewarming party, mainly because it hasn't been ready for people to see...aka stuff everywhere. I feel like our apartment is finally starting to feel like home -we recently installed curtains in our master bedroom AND we bought a bar cart. #ADULTING Home tour to come soon!
Something that has been hard lately is finding time for friends - with so much work, it is super easy to do nothing when I get home and catch up on sleep. I usually host brunches for my friends a couple times a year, so I am a planning on having one this summer! We will hopefully hit a routine soon, which will make seeing our friends (who we miss!) a lot easier. Travel sometimes get in the way of that, but we are here all of April! Next trip we have is booked for Seattle, in the beginning of May.
Last but not least, Cat's first birthday is next month. We thought about having a party for her, but she would probably hate that! Another thought was to get her a friend, but we think she would hate that too! Anyone know of foster kitten situations? Let us know! We'd love to try it out.
Anyway, thanks for reading my ramblings and as always, thanks for following along! I love being able to share life with y'all. Happy Easter week - spend time with your family!
