Two fashion posts in a row? Who am I? Resorting back to my Southern Elle Style days? SES was the name of my first blog, a more strictly fashion blog. Don’t get me wrong - I still love apparel; however, my posts have widened in variety and typically only sprinkle in occasionally these days. Regardless, I’m stoked to introduce you to the Lucy Paris label today.

Most days I don’t wear makeup and I pretty much live in leggings and sports bras. This has never really bothered me, but with quarantine and everything, getting dolled up has definitely made me feel more special. I’m telling you the minute I put on this Lucy Paris top, I felt giddy. It looked good on me (I thought) and I felt good. The day I shot this, I literally only went to the doctor and drove from LA to Lake Arrowhead, but I did it in STYLE. We stopped for fast food on the way there (no drive through though) and I received several compliments while waiting for our meals. I know that it may seem silly and I am a believer that beauty starts inside, but please take a minute to get dressed and feel pretty every now and again. ESPECIALLY in this season. It’s a really simply, low budget way to perk up during a pandemic.
Take a minute and shop your closet to style something new for the “occasion,” or maybe check out the Lucy Paris label if you are in the market! They are based here in Los Angeles, but their style is global. The founder and curator, Lucy, was born in Paris, but also spent a lot of time in New York and Los Angeles. The brand honestly embodies the style that I am trying to achieve… effortless Parisian chic, coupled with California cool, and the professionalism of New York. One of my good friends here in SoCal is French and I’m always like MEL, HOW ARE YOU SO CUTE ALL TIME. I digress. Back to Lucy Paris! One thing that I love that they do is the way they use fabrics. They will use the same fabric across several silhouettes, so if you like the pattern, you’ll at least find one style you love. Besides having great styles that are great quality too, they are also more on the affordable side, as their clothing sits under $100. They are actually having a sale right now on top of that! Use discount code GOODVIBES for 20% off.
I hope you feel happy and loved this holiday season and every season. Give to others and be generous, but make sure to take a little time for yourself ! You can’t pour from an empty cup. XOXO
