Last month we spent a spectacular week in Los Angeles. One of the nights we drove the coast to spend the evening in Malibu. It’s about 45 minutes from LA, so not a horrible drive; plus, our dinner reservation was later, so we didn’t really hit any traffic. I didn’t plan on writing a whole blog post on it, but honestly it was so dreamy, I had to! I felt the same way about the Barnsdall Art Park though. What can I say? LA pretty much never has a bad hair day!

We arrived around 7:30 for our 8:00 reservation, so we could watch the sunset. Best decision ever! After snapping some pictures, we had dinner at Malibu Farm. Even if you don’t eat there, I would highly recommend having a drink on their patio or even just walking the pier and enjoying the sunset, because it is spectacular! Our dinner was good, but the ambiance stole the show. I’d love to go back and try the cafe (versus the restaurant) for breakfast or lunch, as I think I would have been more impressed. Don’t get me wrong. Dinner was very good! I think I just built it up in my head. If you want to go, for sure go! It was a wonderful experience and I’m glad we did it. If you want to know my favorite meal of the trip though, I think it was Bacari. The ambience definitely played into that decision too though. See more of where we ate, here.
Have you been to Malibu? Any favorites? And yes, Nobu is on my list. Don’t worry!
P.S. if this jumpsuit seems familiar, that’s because you’ve seen it before! I shared it last month on the Style for Every Body feature! I love it!
