Shoesday Sunday?! I mentioned this on my initial Nordstrom Anniversary Sale post, but the #1 item I buy (and YOU buy according to my analytics) are shoes! I use this sale as a time to update my shoe game for the new season and fill any gaps/replace anything that needs to be thrown out. Typically I shop for boots, a work shoe and a sandal. I went through and made a collage of my favorites, as I’m not sure what you are shopping for. Just click on the image to be taken to the link! Most come in other colors and fabrics, I just shared mostly black and tan, since those are the basics! Okay so what caught my eye??

Vince Camuto Nestel Knee High Boot | Madewell The Perfect Vintage Jean (Similar but on sale) | Topshop Bandeau Top | Madewell Cardigan (old - similar here) | American Eagle Sunglasses

Like I said I always buy boots. I was drawn to Vince Camuto Nestel Knee High Boot and the Sam Edelman Hiltin Knee High Boot. I loved these because they were shorter and wider than previous years. Over the Knee Boots are still in, but shorter boots are coming back, in addition to boots that don’t hug your calves so tightly. Ultimately I think my favorite boot of the sale is the Vince Camuto Nestel Knee High Boot . Here’s a breakdown of why. Ultimately the VC boots are only $10 more and I’ll pay for that with comfort! If the SE boots were offered in a lighter color, it would have been a harder decision for me.

Vince Camuto Nestel Knee High Boot

  • $159.90 (Normally $239.95)

  • One of my top personal shoe brands, so I know the quality and comfort well

  • More comfortable than the Sam Edelman Boots

  • Prefer the light tan (tortilla suede) hue that isn’t offered in the SE Boots

Sam Edelman Hiltin Knee High Boot

  • $149.90 for suede or $164.90 for leather (Normally $224.95 and $249.95)

  • I also am familiar with Sam Edeleman, but I own more Vince Camuto shoes

  • Super easy to get on / no zipper

  • Love the pointed toe shape and heel

  • Praline is hue pretty, but too similar to current boots I own

OTHER SHOES I BOUGHT

  • Ankle Boots

This trend has emerged over the last year or two and I am here for it! I LOVED these! They didn’t have any in store in my size, so I ordered a pair in black and in grey. I can’t wait to get them in! If you want other ankle boot options, I also liked these Jeffrey Campbell’s and these Treasure and Bond’s.

  • Loafers

I’ve been in the market for some new black loafers for a while now. I ordered these, but I may order these, because they are cheaper, similar, and a bit more modern! The loafers actually come in tons of colors, including nude and snakeskin, which are great modern updates, not to mention a great work shoe!

  • Fashion Sneakers

I wasn’t really planning on buying any sneakers, but I own other Vince slip-ons and when I saw they were included in the sale, I had to get them! I got these black mixed media ones and love that they are simple and seasonless. They are super comfy and great for everyday life. A little but more pricey, but I liked these too! My sister liked these platform converse and these leopard sneakers too.

  • Sandals

Last year my splurge shoes were also Vince, so it only makes since that they were this year too! These Heath strap sandals are gorgeous!! They didn’t have black or nude at all at my store, so I ordered them online. They aren’t supposed to get to me until August, so I’m wondering if they shipped them late. I can’t wait to get them in and will let you know the verdict!

SHOES I DIDN’T BUY BC I ALREAD HAD

  • Ugg Slippers - These are the best! I wear them all the time and you can’t beat this sale price!

  • Booties - Tan booties are a must. I wear mine all the time! These are a great budget friendly option and these are kind of a splurge, but great quality.

  • Hunter Boots - Love me some rain boots! Great quality and a classic piece.

  • Strappy Heel - These are great for wedding season and just to have in your back pocket. These are a classic, I like this modern update (a heeled version of their super popular flat), andddd these are a great piece to wear into fall. If you need a close toed heel, this is a great option.

  • Mules - Love my mules!! They are easy on and off andddd can be worn pretty much during every season but winter. This is a nicer option, as it has a heel and these are a bit more laid back and is best suited for spring and summer.

  • Over the Knee Boots - I know Stuart Weitzman’s are the coveted piece, but I don’t have that kind of budget right now, so these are my favorites - tie tops and pull ups. My personal OTK boots are Vince Camuto, but I own other Marc Fisher shoes, so I comfortable recommending them!

As far as shoes for Nick goes, here are some of his faves:

Loafers - He owns these in black and brown! Wears them alllll the time.

Work Shoes - He just got these for work! He thought they’d be perfect more casual shoe, that will still look stylish.

Tennis Shoes - Nick doesn’t have a pair of casual sneakers that he doesn’t work out in, so I ordered him these and these to see to see which he likes better!

Boots - He doesn’t know I ordered these, but I’m hoping he liked them!

What shoes did you buy / what are you eyeing? They are adding new styles all the time, so keep an eye out. You never know what will pop up!

P.S. I bought these jeans from the #Nsale and they are my #1 pick! They are already sold out, but you can find them full price here or find a similar pair on sale here.
