If you would have asked me 10 years ago what kind of shoe I thought of when you said “work”, my answer would have been a black flat or black heel. Today? Well it isn’t that I don’t like black shoes anymore, but my number one recommendation for a work shoe would be of a nude hue. It’s a staple of today in my opinion! I actually did a post on nude accessories back in 2015… my collection of flesh colored shoes and accessories has quadrupled since then!

Let me be clear when I say “nude”, I mean the actual definition of it! It just means that it matches the wearer’s skintone. That being said “my nude” may not be your “nude”. On that note, I recently shared this article on my facebook page and y’all loved it! Makes sense, because it was about time for that to happen! Because of that, I thought I’d do a “nude’ shoe round-up. A little something for everyone! Kind of sad because I didn’t find a lot of chocolate brown shoes, but I did find a few! What are your thoughts on the nude shoe? It makes me feel feminine and pretty. I love how it elongates my legs! I bought these Vince Heath Cross Strap Sandal at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. They are a pretty penny even on sale, but I love the block heel and the leather feels like butter. I will say the first time I wore them, they blistered the top of my second toe, but I suspect they get used to them, like my other Vince shoes have worn. The block heel is as chic as it is comfy, so I’m excited to wear these to every party and event I have! Vince is such a good quality brand and they last. My splurge shoe last year was a nude Vince flat and I wear them at least twice a week. They are still in great shape!
