Southern Elle Style Shop Share: Spavia West Plano

**I received a complimentary service from Spavia West Plano, in exchange for my review. All opinions are my own.

Spa Robe | Slides | Orange Blossom Lotion | Lipstick Mug | Green Tea

If you read my post from Wednesday, then you know that I have been stressed as of late. Planning a wedding is already somewhat stressful, but balancing that with a full time job + a blogging side career is no joke!

I was selected for this  collaboration with Spavia, through Dallas Fitness Ambassadors - if you're in the area, you should join! Anyway, upon selection, I was stoked. I honestly couldn't remember the last instance where I took time to do absolutely nothing, let alone, get a massage. I think I have had one from Massage Envy and I know I got a Thai massage when I was in Thailand, but that was several years ago.

I arrived at Spavia and was one of the first appointments of the day. Upon arriving, they immediately greeted me and offered me a warm neck wrap. I was like uh heck yes. From there, I filled out some paperwork, but it wasn't just account info - it was specifications for my treatment! I chose a signature lotion scent, what kind of sounds I wanted playing in the room, and the areas that I needed the most work on.

Once the logistics were nailed down, I was taken to an area to change into my robe and spa sandals. I was like I need special shoes for a spa? Where have they been all my life and how can I keep this up?! Needless to say, I was very impressed with their "locker room". They had multiple rooms to undress, in addition to bathrooms, showers, sinks, and were all equipped with extras, like lotion and a hairdryer!

After changing, you step into an actual oasis. It's a room filled with soft light, tea, oils, tiny trickling waterfalls, and succulents. You can choose to meditate, read one of their books or even color in their adult coloring books.

Soon after, your associate retrieves you and takes you back to your designated room. I was in the Peace room, which I felt was highly fitting;) Felicia was my masseuse and she was phenomenal. I had the Signature Spavia massage and that hour went by too quickly! She used the orange blossom lotion I picked out and had soft piano music in the background.  The bed was heated to the perfect temperature...I'm pretty sure I fell into a deep sleep and regained some of the hours I had lost. The rest of the day, I literally felt light years away from that morning, in a good way!

When my massage was over, Felicia left the room, so I could change, but greeted me on the other side of the door, with yummy cup of tea, with a note on it. After that, I bolted back to the massage room to get another. Just kidding. I WISH! All I know, is that I live in Dallas and would drive to West Plano every day for that kind of treatment.

If you aren't that into traditional massages, don't fret. They have other options. I have heard great things about their sports massages, but if for some reason you don't want one, they have other treatments, like facials, waxes, and even eyelash extensions.

I loved my service and am actually considering joining one of their monthly memberships. The base level is just $59 and that gets you a 60 minute massage, a facial, and a spray tan or makeup application. Honestly, I think it would reduce my stress and increase my relaxation. Nick, if you're reading this, don't you think so? Can you work that into our budget;)
