It’s only mid September, but the candy corn is out and people are drinking pumpkin spiced lattes, so I’m going to go ahead and talk about Halloween, ok? Halloween has always been fun for me because it is something that people celebrate, but don’t go out of town for, you know? Your friends are still around and it is fun! My wedding anniversary is October 28th, so it sometimes falls on Halloween parties. We haven’t been able to go to any Halloween themed events lately, as we have been out of town, but this year we are in town and I’m so excited! Especially since we are in a new city. If you need Halloween costume ideas, here are some of my favorites!

Madewell Plaid Blazer (size down) | Wildfox Ghostess T-shirt | Madewell Jeans | Black Flats

I love a good spicy snack any time of year, but they are especially fun this time of year, as they automatically lend themselves to being spooky. I thought it would be fun to make a little list of my favorite spicy things, so you can have them at your Halloween parties, or really whenever you want!

I also wanted to write this post, because there are so many cute and yummy snacks out there, but they take hours to prep (looking at you, mummy hot dogs) or have expensive ingredients. Having get togethers isn’t about how much time or money you spend, but the thought and intention. I hope these ideas help you RELAX and enjoy a little more.

SNACKS

  • Angie’s Boom Chicka Pop Sweet and Spicy Popcorn

  • Biena Habanero Roasted Chickpeas

  • Jalapeño Skinny Pop Popcorn

  • Kettle Brand Jalapeño Chips

  • Trader Joe’s Ghost Pepper Potato Chips

  • Trader Joe’s Chili Lime Flavored Rolled Tortilla Chips (TJ’s version Takis)

  • Paqui Haunted Ghost Pepper Chips (I also LOVE the cool salsa verde flavor)

  • Lindt Excellence Chili Dark Chocolate Bar

BEVERAGES

  • Trader Joe’s Organic Jalapeño Limeade (I like to dilute mine with 1 part limeade, one part ginger tea. Also great with alcohol.)

  • Ghost 100% Blue Agave Tequila (spicy margs for the win!! No need to muddle or anything.)

  • Health Ade Kombucha Jalapeño-Kiwi-Cucumber (The Ginger-Lemon flavor has a kick too, and of course there’s the Cayenne Cleanse one too! Fun to mix with alcohol too.)

SPICES (Great to spice up normal things you already have in your pantry!)

  • Cayenne (I take my apple cider vinegar shots with cayenne on the regular!)

  • Cinnamon (I love to add this to tea and other recipes to a small kick.)

  • Ghost Pepper Salt

  • Ginger (I’m obsessed with added it and add it everything. Here’s why it is good for your diet.)

  • Jalapeños (I prefer fresh, but salts and such exist.)

  • Sriracha

  • Tajín (We love to put this on our margarita rims and dip fruit in it!)

  • Trader Joe's Organic Sriracha Ranch Dressing

Do you have a favorite spicy snack that missed? Let me know, because I want to try it!
