I mentioned yesterday that one of my favorite blog posts every month is my Favorites series, but my Style for Every Body series is quickly becoming a favorite. This is our 3rd month to share it and next weekend we are meeting to shoot the next 3 months. Crazy, but true! Sharing items of clothing that work for different body types is super important to me, because I myself don’t fit into a lot of the popular trends and such. Also, size inclusivity is something that is finally getting some air time and I want to help contribute to the cause. Everyone deserves to feel cute and look great and guess what? Everyone isn’t the same dang size!
This month we are sharing or favorite shorts. Read on to find your new favorite part of cut offs!
Let’s start with me… Lauren from LMents of Style
Madewell Shorts | American Eagle Crochet Sweater Tank | Marc Fisher Adalla Wedges | Kendra Scott Diane Earrings | American Eagle Sunglasses
I’m wearing: Madewell Shorts
What size I am wearing: 28
Where I like to shop for shorts: If you would have asked me last year, I would have said Agolde shorts. I still really like those for when I want those loose, vintage vibes (I wear a 29 in them - 0 stretch), buuuut these Madewell ones are what dreams are made of. I love that they are high waisted and they fit me perfectly, just like Madewell jeans! I also own a couple pair from American Eagle. Those are cute, budget friendly options! Side note - just like you can bring in a pair of old jeans to recycle and get $20 off a pair of new jeans at Madewell… you can do the same thing and get $10 a pair of shorts. #heckyes ALSO, these are fair-trade approved!

I haven’t tried any of their apparel yet, but a brand I’m crushing hard on right now is Oliver Logan. Check them out if you can!
