Earlier this year I purchased this BlankNYC suede moto jacket for a trip to San Francisco. This Texas girl gets COLD there. I'll never forget the first time I went to SF and dressed like I was in San Diego. It's no SoCal weather, that's for sure! I wanted a jacket that would keep me warm, but also look chic.  I stumbled upon this one and decided to order it to see if I liked it - I am a coat person, but not a jacket person really? I mean in Texas it's really hot or really cold...not much in-between.

This jacket is the answer to my coat prayers though! I really can't believe I didn't hop on the moto jacket trend sooner. It is more fitted than your traditional coat, so you don't lose your shape in puffiness, it is super chic and an easy way to edge up your outfit. Like I can throw this jacket on  for a last minute accessory to really make my outfit, but it is actually functional too!

So there are obviously smooth leather moto jackets, but if you're in the market for a moto jacket, I encourage you to look at a suede one. There's just something about the texture that makes it so good! Shopbop actually has the grey moto jacket, olive moto jacket, red moto jacket on sale for 20%-25% off with code EOTS17, but it ends today! If you want more like a caramal color like mine or just another hue, I actually did a round-up for you below. Just click on the image and you will be taken to the link! If it isn't clicking through, just refresh the page and it should work.

I obviously understand that this is an  investment piece, but the weight of the jacket and the silhouette is just so nice! If need a little bit of a cheaper option or maybe you don't want to wear real suede or something like that, I actually found some faux suede options for ya! If it's for ethical reasons I understand, but if you are teetering between a non-suede or suede option, they really aren't thaaaat different in price. The real suede is worth it. Either way, just click through, like above!

So this technically my last blog post featuring my Oregon trip. I am actually working on a vlog of it, but not sure when that will be out. Videos take so much longer than blog posts! In the meantime, you can check out my other Oregon posts here:
