Earlier this year, Nick and I “Marie Kondo-ed” our closet. I have yet to share the images of our clothes covered floors, but let me tell you, it was crazy. I had been holding onto things for wayyyyy to long - like from high school and my 10 year reunion is coming up! One of the things I was truly sad to get rid of was my pair of Marc Fisher Annie wedges. They were the first MF wedges I ever purchased and I LOVED them. I paid full price for them and would have done it again! I wore the tar out of them for 2 summers, but one of the rubber heels started wearing out and it wasn’t safe to walk on anymore.

That being said, I know that Marc Fisher’s wedges are tall, but they are the most sturdy and comfy wedge I have ever owned. I was shopping the market for a new pair of wedges and I honestly looked elsewhere, but I kept coming back to MF! I was going to wait a little later into the season to pick a pair, but when these Adalla wedges went on sale, I knew it was a sign! I got them in cognac, but they come in 4 other colors too. Previously I purchased the “mushroom” hue, which I really liked, but I’m glad I went with the tan, as it goes well with brown and black!
While we are on the topic of clothing, what do y’all think about this dress? It is a loose fitting tank dress which is perfect for Texas summers AND it has pockets. It reminds me of Joseph and the AmazingTechnicolor Dream Coat. Anyone else? I’m always sentimental about the Old Testament come Easter! Would make for a great Easter dress don’t ya think ;)
Maybe you have different taste or just want to see what else is out there! Here’s a round-up of all the wedges I think are cute right now. Heights and price-points for everyone!
Side note, we shot these pictures at Vivian’s Spa over near Lower Greenville. You might recognize them because I listed them as a non-toxic spectrum and fume free salon in Dallas on my Nontoxic Nail Polish + Why You Should be Wearing It post. They treated me and Nick to a Rose Quartz Couples massage last Sunday and it was AMAZING. They used rose quartz stones and rose hip seed oil - we walked out of there feeling and smelling like a fresh bouquet of flowers! Rose quartz is known for its healing properties, promoting energy, wellness, wealth and love!! To top it off, we got to choose the music / sounds for our room and Frank Sinatra was an option, so we went with that! Our first dance was to Fly Me to the Moon, so it was like a mini-anniversary in there! When we left, Nick asked “um how can we do this more often?!”. I’m telling you, massages are for everyone and a great way to relax and relieve tension. Vivian’s also offers manicures, pedicures and facials too!
