FRIDAY. Ya made it. Honestly, I just want to take a nap right this second, but first let's make it to Saturday;) Is power napping still a thing people do? Honest to goodness, sometimes I just need 15 minutes and then I'm ready. With the N Sale stuff though, I worry I'll sleep through my alarm like I do EVERY MORNING. Seriously, the only thing that actually wakes me up is Alarmy

Anyway, yep the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is going on right now (in case you live under a rock haha) - it started yesterday, so this is only my second post on it. To see my initial post with my Nordstrom Anniversary best buys and my faves, click here <-- Last year I did a post called
Art of Versatility: Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Dress 4 Ways and I wanted to do something similar this year, because 1) I love showing y'all how I style and 2) it helps you shop smarter when you think about versatility. Ya welcome!

ANYWAY, let's get down to it... this amazing blanknyc suede shift dress. And no I don't mean "amazing" in that really annyoing/fake voice. I mean it like A M A Z I N G, because it's darn good! I was instantly drawn to it and it greatly redeemed the BlankNYC selection this year (IMO. I don't really like the hooded faux leather or drapey thing).

First of all, the color is so good. I saw TONS of olive at the sale, so I'm sure it will continue to be big into this fall. As a redhead, I'm pretty much always drawn to olive, so nothing new here! I consider it a classic color.

Second of all, it can transition you from September to December. Ooh while we are on December, I can see it now with some tan pops, as a Christmas outfit!! The first way I paired it is very Texas autumn. It doesn't get cold until like January most years, so in order to feel like fall, I play with texture. This suede fits the bill! Plus, you can always throw a tee or sweater under it for more layer and tights and such when it actually gets colder! Which styling do you like better?

Third and last of all, let's talk sizing. I ended up getting a small. I was kind of surprised, because I wear a 29 in the skirt ALL DAY. The medium was slightly longer, but was way too big for me up top. The small isn't ideal for bending over, but...I don't really plan on bending over in it. haha!

Soooo what do y'all think? It's kind of jumper-esque, which I grew up wearing and still wear. I think it's a chic and easy piece to have in your arsenal! Oh and that under $80 price point?? GET IT GIRLLLL!
