What color shouts spring more than yellow?! I’ve always enjoyed the hue. I like the way it looks on me, but I also like the way it makes me feel happy! I think of sunshine and warm summer days…sunflowers along I-35 in Texas and Mustard Flowers in Napa. If you have ever looked into color therapy, this should not come as a surprise, because yellow is said to signify pretttttty much everything I just said.
You won’t find me rocking capris, but I do love a good crop. Pair it with a flare leg and I am SOLD. These Madewell Emmett Windowpane Crop Wide Leg Pants are perfect for spring, summer and honestly could even be worn into fall! Just pair them with black or burgundy instead of springy hues! I love these pants because they are great for work, but are also something you could go to brunch in or even dress up for a date night.
First I styled them down by pairing them my new white sneakers and then popping that same white with some statement earrings. I could have easily styled my white central shirt with this, but wanted more than that, so I went with my chambray shirt instead. This is definitely a weekend look vs a work day look. Dress it down even more by pairing a white t-shirt with it and removing the statement earrings.

In this second look, my faaavorite white tank came into play here to make more of a brunch look. I think you could even wear it to a nice event, but maybe swap out the wedges for a nude heeled sandal. I think this was my favorite look because it felt the most “me”. Pretty simple, but I love it!!
Last but not least, this is more of a work look. It is probably my least favorite, only because it takes me out of my comfort zone the most. It’s pattern mixing annnd a little louder than I normally wear, but hey. I tried something new! Fashion is about evolving. ALSO, if you can’t wear open toed shoes to work, just trade my sandals for a loafer or flat. Will be just as cute! Side note - this shirt is still my favorite shirt right now. I actually styled it for you 3 ways here!

Soooo what do you think?! Perhaps yellow pants seem a bit scary and more of a statement piece, but don’t let that deter you from these crops, because they are G O O D!!!
