Palm Beach feels like AGES ago, but I can still taste this meal like yesterday...If you recall, Nick and I went to West Palm Beach and Palm Beach for 4th of July. One of our wedding gifts was a stay at a family friend's condo in PGA National, and we decided to cash it in for that holiday, since I got some unexpected days off.

On our second to last night in Florida, Nick and I went to The Breakers for drinks, then went to Buccan for dinner. Nick and I were in foodie heaven.  The next day, our last night, we were trying to decide where to go for dinner and honestly we couldn't think of anything but Buccan. So off we went!

It was just as good, if not better than the first time! Something that made our second visit exceptional was that we got to have Steven as our waiter. If you go to Buccan, you MUST try and get in his section. The friends who let us stay at their condo...her brother is actually an investor of Buccan. I think she was being modest by not including it on our "must eat" list, BUT we found it anyway! But yes, they always sit with Steven and I can see why! We told him what kind of food we liked/didn't like and he brought stuff out to us that he thought we would enjoy. Effortless eating and not having to pick and choose? I'll take that any day!

I didn't get to photograph our dinner that first night, because it was too dark, but one thing I can say that isn't pictured that is worth it is the squid ink pasta SO GOOD. Our second night we repeated the sweet corn agnolotti, because it's just that good. The warm brussels sprouts caesar is also a real treat. Some places have tried to copy it, but you can't beat the original. You are truly can't go wrong with any of their dishes!

That last night there just happened to be 4th of July. We ate our scrumptious dinner and then walked to the waterfront to see fireworks. Twas the perfect ending to our little vacation! If you have budget for one nice dinner when you're in Palm Beach, this is your place! If not, I would still suggest it for drinks and apps! Also, if you like sushi, there's a place next door called Imoto and it's owned by the same people, but I believe you can order it over to Bucaan as well. Omg, take me back!! P.S. try and go on a Monday night...it's 1/2 price bottles of wine night!!
