I feel like a lot of fashion posts have been going up on Women in the Workplace Wednesday, but Iā€™m not mad about it, since we had a lot of heavy topics recently. ALSO, I know a lot of you look for fashion inspiration. Itā€™s something I love to do and share about too! So many people encourage the one and done wear policy, but I truly do try to encourage wearing something for multiple seasons, multiple ways. And welllll, todayā€™s mini skirt is the item of the hour!

I was originally drawn to it, because of the pretty pattern, but once I tried it on, I loved it for the fit. It wasnā€™t too short, passed as a fall floral, buuuut could easily transition to spring or summer. Talk about dream skirt! Its length also made it a great contender for the office as well!! I never really wear mini skirts with heels to work, but if I did, this skirt would get away with it! And with so many other shoes too. Hereā€™s some of my favorite ways to style it!

Iā€™m super annoyed that I waited this long to share this skirt, because when I zipped it up in the Madewell fitting room, I knew it was goooood. Selling under $100, I knew it would go fast. Anddd that it did! I think it was Black Friday that did it in. Who knows, maybe theyā€™ll restock it? They do that from time to time. I found 3 options that are similar for you in the meantime. This one from Madewell, this one from Target, and this one from Nordstrom. Now onto how to wear itā€¦

This first styling is casual chic! I probably would have worn some lace up ankle boots or booties, had we not been wine tasting. Sneakers just made more sense ;) I dressed it up with a hat though! On the other hand, the sweater kind of dresses it down tooā€¦Would be super cute with a chunky oversize sweater as well. Anyway, it is a great pairing for when it is slightly chilly, but you want to wear a shorter skirt. Hah!

Secondly, I dressed it up with OTK boots and a felt hat. I would for sure wear this look to the office, sans the hat. Dress it up even more with a blouse instead of a cotton turtleneck. Iā€™m not 100% sure, but I think this look just might be my favorite version. Maybe it is the hat? I seriously canā€™t stop wearing it.

Madewell Mini Skirt (almost sold out - similar from Madewell, this one from Target, and this one from Nordstrom) | Everlane Turtleneck (c/o) | Gigi Pip Monroe Hat | Vince Camuto Boots (old, similar here and here) | Rayban Sunglasses

Last but not least, is my most dressed down version andddd the one that can take you into spring. White tees and sneaks are perfect to ring in a brighter season, but also good on a warm winterā€™s day. A denim jacket is the unsung hero of the transitional wardrobe! I love this sherpa one though, because it gives a winterā€™s touch to a somewhat springy look.

I wanted to include this last photo (below), because I wanted to show the back of my jacket. Itā€™s a one of a kind sample from Leviā€™s, but thatā€™s not the pointā€¦Just wanted to say that, as you canā€™t find it anywhere! You can find their regular jacket and do some embroidery yourself though! The point Iā€™m trying to make? This skirt would be great with a graphic tee or sweatshirt. The graphic on the back really portrays that! I love it!! What do you think? How would you style it? Pretty sure you canā€™t go wrong with this spunky skirt. Enjoy!
