Yeeeeep. I feel like it's been a while since I have posted about fashion, which is kind of weird...just other thoughts on my mind right now. Anyway, I'M BACK.

Recently, I purchased these "pinot noir" velvet mules and ever since then, I've been seeing so many velvet shoes. They are EVERYWHERE. Now, you might just say it is the Baader-Meinhof Phenomenon, but I choose to call it a trend;)

I just had to have these gemma mules, because they are super easy to put on and just give off an effortlessly cool vibe. Comfy chic (that's a thing;) ) AND EASY? I'll take one in every color, please.  They actually come in leather too, if you want a season-less pair!

Velvet was actually back last holiday season, but I personally feel that it is always a classic option. Crushed velvet on the other hand, no thanks. If I wanted to wear my gymnastics leotard from the 90's, I would! But yes, we have seen that loafers and mules are back as well, which I also think are classics...read my loafer post here,  so using that "in" silhouette + the "in" fabric of velvet, it's a dream come true! Not to mention that I could wear these forever and always feel "in style"!

What do you think? I see myself wearing them with jeans, dresses, and even with workwear! If they aren't your thing, you want something more trendy, or just some other options, I did a trend round-up for you below. Just click on the image and you will be taken to the direct link of the product! If it isn't working for you, just refresh the page and the widget should load!

What's your favorite??  Are you going to hop on the velvet shoe trend?!
