What to Pack for Palm Beach

As y'all know, I love clothes and I love to travel, so what better way to kick off my West Palm Beach/Palm Beach series what with what to wear and pack?! I probably stress more about what to pack for any vacation than the average human, so here goes.
Quite honestly for Palm Beach, just plan for it to be HOT. The sand is hot. The air is thick. You're going to start sweating right when you walk out of any AC, to tell you the truth. I don't know what I was expecting, but the weekend prior, I was in Laguna Beach, which has vastly different weather. Anyway, even with the heat, you can give yourself a head start with the heat by dressing smart.
1) Wear loose clothing. This camisole is the perfect example of chic + heat friendly. It's breezy and isn't too tight. For guys this could look like, wearing a boxier, beachy cut button down, instead of a t-shirt, or a button down tucked in. Think Tommy Bahama style...
2) No pants, no problem. Sorry guys - I guess just wear shorts where you can! But for you girls, skirts, dresses, and shorts are your friend! I tried wearing white jeans one night to dinner, which you would thinkkkkk would be okay, because the sun is going down, but it was kind of miserable.
3) Bring Hats. This is good for your face/skin of course, but it is more-so to help keep you cool. Hats can be beachy and chic these days, so consider dusting the sand off, and wearing it out.
4) Wear Sunscreen. This should be a no brainer, but it should be part of your getting ready routine in Florda. Most things to do are outside and you don't want to chance skin cancer.
So what did I actually bring for our 4 night, 5 day stay in Florida?
2 Pair of Shorts - 1 denim pair and then the pair from this post
2 Pair of Jeans - I brought my white jeans and a pair of lightwash denim
1 Lounge Set - For sleeping and nursing sunburns in**
3 Dresses - For dinner dates
5 Tops - To wear interchangeably with my shorts
4 Pair of Shoes - A nice wedge, a flat sandal, beach shoes, and tennis shoes
