Southern Elle Style Shop Share: Reveal Swimwear

Happy weekend, friends! I hope you are headed to the pool, so you can sun you worries away. (Just don't forget sunscreen, okay?) We are quite literally in the heat of summer in Texas, so chilling poolside is about all I can think about...and of course looking cute doing so, which brings me to my Southern Elle Style Shop Share for this week!
This past May, Reveal Swimwear opened off of Lovers Lane, in Dallas. It is a premier luxury resort and swimwear destination...something that Dallas didn't have, until now! Sure there are stores that have high end suits and accessories, but it isn't their main focus. At Reveal, that's all they do! So, why not visit the specialists?
Reveal was created by Amie Raney and Kelly Bajec, both Dallas residents of Preston Hollow. It might seem that it was created due to a lack of options, and it was; however, it was truly born out of necessity! When Amie and some of her girlfriends traveled to Anguilla to celebrate her birthday, she came out wearing the same suit as one of her bffs. How? Because when you're shopping for a luxury swimsuit, there's really only one place to go in Dallas and it is pretty mainstream. (pun intended!) They buy deep and chances are, you're going to have the same suit as someone else. It was by the waters of Anguilla that Amie and Kelly started brainstorming ideas to solve this problem. Thus, Reveal Swimwear was born!
Personally, I would hate to show up somewhere and have on the same outfit as someone else, so I completely get the inspiration behind Reveal. This makes me appreciate it even more! It is located in a quaint house, the inventory is a wide assortment vs. deep, and you develop a personal relationship with the owners. All of these attributes bind together to create the Utopian swimwear destination. (Which prevents the problem of donning the same swimsuit as someone else, Viola!) I love it when companies use their life experiences to solve a problem, and Reveal Swimwear did just that!
As you can see, Reveal doesn't just do swimwear. They do accessories, shoes, and several different cover-ups. The cover-up that I am wearing is from their boutique and one of the softest, flowiest dresses I have ever worn...not to mention that the print is amazing. My favorite aspect of its versatility. It is the perfect beach to boardwalk look, if I've ever seen one! I can wear it from the pool, to Whole Foods, without thinking anything of it. Also, it has a leg slit so my skin can breathe. I wish all cover-ups in Texas had this feature- it would certainly prevent sticky-thigh syndrome!
Although they recently opened their store to the women of Dallas, they have been buying resort wear for their friends for a while. Amie and Kelly channel some of their favorite vacation spots when planning buys, such as South of France, Mustique, Cabo San Lucas, which is very evident when you walk into their shop. Every woman needs a bit of luxury in their life and Reveal is here to help the women of Dallas not only feel luxurious, but pretty and confident as well. What more could you want? Swimsuit shopping is hard enough for a girl, but Amie and Kelly are here to help!
