Everlane The Japanese GoWeave Tank Wrap Dress | Lawless Soft Matte Lipstick | Sam Edelman Ariella High Heeled Sandals | Always Coco Davinci Pendant
I donāt ever like to be one of those people who apologizes for not posting or sharing. I donāt want to assume you even noticed. Buttttt here I am trying to catch up! I didnāt post last Thursday or yesterday (Sunday) and am mad at myself about it, buttt I was also listening to my body and stress level. Wednesday we went to a wine dinner at Mille Lire, Thursday I went to a party, Friday we hosted a party and had friends with us, and Saturday was booked with fun events until the evening. Sunday night I was trying to finish this blog post and I fell asleep for about an hour. Once I woke up, I got ready for bed and tucked myself in by 9! I feel better today, but I can totally tell my body is trying to fight something off! We are headed out of town this weekend and then of course it is Christmas, so I donāt want to be sick for any of that!
Iāve had this post in my ādraftsā for about 3 months now. Oops! I just shot it this weekend and wish I would have posted it sooner, because it would have made a great Christmas party dress! I bought this Everlane The Japanese GoWeave Tank Wrap Dress to wear to Nickās cousinās rehearsal dinner, knowing Iād get more use out of it than that! This wrap style dress is so flattering and classic, youāll pretty much be able to wear it forever! I originally wanted it in the plum hue, but it was a pre-order color and I needed it before the ship date. I went with navy, because I have several black dresses already and navy is still a good hue! Not sure if you can wear this thin of straps to work, but Iāve worn it to the office with a moto jacket and a cardigan. Both were hits! The fabric doesnāt limit it to only be worn in the fall/winter, so you better bet Iāll be sporting this come spring and summer too. Itās a pretty simple silhouette, so you can pretty much dress it up or down and for any occasions- work, weddings and beyond!
Iāve given an Everlane Brand Overview before, but I just canāt stop talking about how transparent they are! From how much something costs, to what factory the product is made in, I love I can shop there and feel good about what Iām buying! Oh and right now they have free 2-day shipping, so add some sequins and this could be your NYE dress! Yāall know I love me some versatility and this is one of those styles that can not only be worn multiple ways, but it is one of those go-to forever dresses!
Side note: Be sure to read the size guides! In this dress I am TTS and a size 4, but in other straight bodied dresses, I have to get a size 6. The chart they have should guide your decision. It is done per item! ALSO lot of the time I will order 2 sizes and return the size the size that doesnāt fit. They have this Easy Return system that lets you return items in local stores. I do my Everlane returns at Read Between the Lines in Victory Park in Dallas!
