Happy first official day of Fall! Labor Day 2015 has come and gone, so the cool, autumn weather is just around the corner, right? If you're in Texas like me then, the answer is no. We probably won't feel the coolness for another month or two. So, what's a girl to do, when it's fall, but feels like summer? Keep on rocking the blossoms!

If you read this post, then  you know how to change up your colors for the upcoming months. And, if you read this post, then you know it is possible to rock florals year round. But how do you don them if you don't have dark neutrals? Well, if you think back to NYFW in February, when designers showcased Fall 2015, chartreuse was a very popular pop color, that is bound to make your florals warm (and any print or winter hue for that matter) during the next few weeks, before the cold comes blowing in.  (Have a refresher via this post!)

Chartreuse is one of my favorite colors, so it was only natural for me to choose it as a pop color! Right now, I don't need the sweater, but I'm thinking that I will, come October. When winter finally comes rolling in, I live in blacks and greys, so I try to keep color in my wardrobe as long as possible. If you just can't see yourself in brights, then choose the dark hues that compliment your wardrobe. For example, this dress could easily be paired with a forest green, or rust cardigan + over the knee boots, if you were feeling particularly trendy!

You might not have looked at this piece and thought "transition wear" from summer to fall, but if you're in the warm, South, I hope I helped open the eyes of your closet and enabled you wear certain pieces longer!

Florals used to wither in the winter months, but hopefully you'll have them blooming year-round, now! P.S. if you're looking for any "winter florals", I just bought this Show Me Your Mumu tunic, that I will definitely be wearing all the time!

Do you wear florals year-round or just in the spring and summer months? If you do wear them all the time, how do you transition them?
