How to Wear White When You're Pale

Y'all. It may be one day from summer, but in Texas the heat is on!! I guess it's good that white is trending, because it's all I want to wear, to keep cool. Buuuut, it also may be that it's roughly 4 months until I get married (kinda mentioned that here).
This hot little number is another one of Cultro's masterpieces. If you haven't heard of them, I introduced them last Tuesday, on this blog post. The fabric is so soft and light, I just want to wear it all the time. In fact...I'll probably wear it to work tomorrow. Tune into my snapchat to see ;)
Anyway, like I've mentioned, I'm really into white right now; however, I also have china doll skin and don't want to be washed out. I like my skin, but I am aware that it is lighter than what is "popular", currently. I mean when you leave a comment on my Instagram saying "let me know when you want a spray tan", I kind of get the picture ;) So, if you're of the pale variety like me, here's some tips I use, when donning white: (side note, even if you're not pale, these are great tips if you tend to shy away from the color, but want to try it out!)
1) Wear Cream or Off White. This is my favorite tip! I tend to gravitate to eggshells and ivories, anyway; but, they actually look better against my skin tone. I'm light, with red undertones, so the creams give my skin tone a pop, that I don't get from stark white. Another reason, this is my favorite, is because it is wearable throughout the entire year, if the fabric is versatile!
2) Wear White Accessories Instead. White shoes, white scarves, white bags...you name it, it counts! I am really obsessed with Kendra Scott's white jewelry options. From druzy, to marble, they have a clean look, that goes well with everything. And if it goes with all your outfits, that means it's an amazing investment piece!
3) Pop White Nail Polish. Love how this looks! It's super trendy right now, for sure. With this though, I still prefer creams. Right now, my favorite white polish is OPI's Be There in a Prosecco, which actually is more creamy than white. Surprise, surprise ;)
4) Accent it with Color Pops. I'm all about the neutral head to toe looks, but sometimes the best way to wear white, is to pop it with another hue. This takes the "glare" of the white off a bit. Right now, my favorite white color combo is royal blue. It's so oceanic an dreamy.
Thoughts? Questions? What colors are hard against your skin tone? I love blush, but that is even worse on me than white!
