New week yāall!! Itās the end of October, Nick and I are kicking off the beginning of our 3rd year of marriage and I can hear 2019 singing softly in the distance. We are enjoying our last day in Mendocino for our anniversary (blog posts to come!!) and I thought it was a good time to kind of recap the last month. At the end of September, we were in Seattle for a cousinās wedding, so a lot of my instagram posts were in the PNW.
When we go to Washington, sometimes we stay Seattle proper, but more often than not we are staying in a suburb. The past couple of times we have gone we have stayed in Kirkland - it is the prettiest little city! I thought Iād share a couple things to do, see and EAT. Maybe one day Iāll do a more in depth one, but for now, think of this as a mini travel guide.
To Do:
Marina Park / Lake Washington: I will never get tired of the water!
Walk Around Downtown: downtown is so cute! Thereās a lot to do and see and usualllllly a festival or something.
To Eat:
Georgeās Restaurant - down home cooking! Get the chicken and waffles.
Homegrown - locally sourced ingredients with amazing flavors. Breakfast and lunch!
The French Bakery - amazing pastries and delightful sandwiches. Get the croque monsieur!
Zoka Coffee Roasters - pretty good craft coffee, teas, and pastries.
The Lodge - bar food - get the burger!
The Wok - I canāt remember what the name of this place changed to, but itās a fun little bar. Get the deviled eggs!
