As I sat to write this post, I was about to type "hey now", which made me think of the Lizzie McGuire movie. Anyone else?! Which by the way...that was released in 2003. WOW do I feel old. Anyway, like I mentioned at the top, I haven't done one of these in a while, so here goes! I actually don't really like doing round-ups, because linking everything and such takes a lonnnnng time. Or at least longer than I'd like;) But I do think they are important, especially with the way the Insta algorithm is working these days. You might see a "post" you never actually saw! (lol)
This post was scheduled to go out Wednesday morning, but I didn't get it done. I decided to take Tuesday night off and bake a cake instead! Baking is something I used to do a lot more of. I would probably pick at least a recipe a week and test it out. It's a lot of work, but definitely a stress reliever for me. Do y'all have anything that takes your mind off of things? For me this week, it was baking the best strawberry cake by Sally's Baking Addiction. SO GOOD, y'all. And it's not too sweet, which is a big plus. I'll touch on this another time, but I made it for my home group girls. Nick and I haven't been in a community group since we have been married and it is something we have been searching for. We have been in this one since March and we LOVE it. This Saturday we are officially joining The Village Church (Dallas Campus), so that's super exciting as well.
Anyway, enough about me (for today) and back to the topic at hand. As I was pulling together these images I noticed a common thread of a lot of accessories, shoes, and staple wardrobe pieces, so I thought I'd list them out for you and discuss each one! (side note, did you notice my new instagram filter?! If y'all like it, I'm thinking about bringing it to the blog as well). LET ME KNOW!! One more thing that is kinda new is that I am sending out a weekly newsletter again. I write exclusive content for that and basically show you all my posts for the previous week. If you want to start getting, just click here and fill in the form. Here we go on my current faves, if you couldn't already tell:

SHOES
Marc Fisher Annie Wedge - also the cognac hue is on sale! These changed how I viewed wedges. I mentioned them in my top purchases of 2017. They are cute, comfy, and actually feel stable when you walk on them.
Rebecca Minkoff Candace Block Heel - these have been current favorite shoe! I bought them a couple of months ago and have already gotten my money's worth! They are super comfy - I can walk up stairs and wear them at work all day and be finnnne! They are also good for weddings or times when you have to be on your feet a lot, but still want to look chic. I actually featured them on my April Favorites.
Dolce Vita White Slides (similar here and here) - These are a favorite from last season that I still wear! A white slide is something that you should have in your closet for really any day or time. They are easy and chic. My favorite combo ;)
Steven Greece Slides - These were also a summer buy for this season. This past fall, my black sandals broke and these were so good, I had to have them! Another "easy chic" option to just slide and go! They come in other colors as well.

ACCESSORIES
Baublebar Feather Parisian Earrings - I originally bought these for a Christmas party, but have been wearing them non-stop. They originally appeared on my blog back in my January Favorites post.
Kendra Scott Diane Earrings - These are gold. Literally! They go with everything, but are unique enough to be the perfect "basic" statement earring. I shared these originally on my March Favorites post.
Kendra Scott Denise Earrings - These are my newest accessory purchase and I have dubbed them my "summer statement earring". They gain my buzz word of versatility, because you can change the tassels to be 1, 2, or 3! (I'm wearing 3 here).
Madewell Bandana - I know I'm late to the bandana train, but I can't stop wearing them! They are super easy just to throw on and look effortlessly chic.
Lawless Soft Matte Lipstick in Brad -Y'all have heard of Lawless by now, I hope! I first featured them back in February, but recently did a Lawless Lipstick review as well. Brad is my go-to color and is prettttty much perfect for any occasion.
American Eagle Purrrty Sunglasses - I actually bought these for a giveaway for y'all, but ended up loving them so much, that I kept them for myself! #sorrynotsorry They also look more expensive than the actually are, which is alwayssss a plus!

APPAREL
Madewell Central Shirt in Indigo - I'm convinced you can never have too many denim shirts. This is the perfect summer-slouchy version that is cute, yet breathable and practical.
Madewell Central Shirt in Pure White - I love this shirt so much, I actually have it in white as well! It's a great basic and a frequent part of my summer uniform.
Express Downtown Cami - You NEED to have a white camisole in your arsenal and this one is currently BOGO! I adore the v-neck and that it can be dressed up or down.
Agolde Parker Denim Shorts - I mentioned a couple months ago that I was looking for some longer denim shorts and I finally found them! These are like One Teaspoons (my fave), but don't give you a straight view of my crotch or behind! LOVE THEM. I did a whole blog post on them here.

Do you have any "must-haves" for spring or summer?! Let me know so I can see what I have been missing. If you're going to say sunscreen, don't worry! Posts on that are coming!! We are almost to Friday, y'all. You can do it! XOXO
