Hi, July! Today Nick and I are leaving for a secret, “last hurrah” type of trip this morning. My flight cut off is coming up and we wanted to get one last trip in. Nick planned this all on his own and as I type this, I still don’t know where we are going. This will be a sort of babymoon / 30th birthday for me / 5 year wedding anniversary trip for us. My birthday is next month, so I won’t be able to really do much for it. Our anniversary is at the end of October and the twins will already be here, so that isn’t the time for travel either. Hoping for lots of rest, relaxation, and fun with Nick before we kick it into high gear and prep our apartment for the twins’ arrival.
All that to say, I haven’t don’t a ton so my favorites feel kind of scarce, but here are some things I’ve been loving as of late. Everything is linked below the collage and all but 3 are linked in the image. Enjoy!!
Tiger Bath Mat. I have been wanting to update our bathroom for a while and finally decided to do it. My inspiration was this tiger bath mat. I had eyed it for some time, but decided this summer was the perfect time to do so. It also comes in white, but I love the pop of orange. I have shared it before on IG stories, so if you have been toying with it, now is the time to get it. It is currently marked down $10! I ordered black bath towels to upgrade our current towels and they should arrive this month - they have been back ordered. We have been using the same towels for almost 5 years and could definitely use some new ones!
Compression Socks. Pregnancy problems! You’ll find that there are quite a few pregnancy items that made this list and that is because I’m at the peak of aches and pains of pregnancy. I have now ordered two packs of these socks and they have been helping with my dull calf aches. I wear them around the house, but especially when traveling on a plane.
Updated Senreve Aria Belt Bag. I still need to share my review comparing the two, but recently Senreve upgraded their Aria belt bag. They added inner loops for the chain strap to fit through! This was music to my ears, because that is often how I use the bag. It is so much easier to style now! Use code ELLEMULENOS for $50 off. Want to see more of this bag? I styled it 3 ways here, though it can actually be worn 4 ways.
Custom by Kathleen Diamond Necklace. My new baby!! I am all about investing in fine jewelry, as it is something I typically wear daily. It lasts a lifetime and can easily be passed down. Some of my most prized possessions are pieces from family… members who are no longer with us. Wearing their jewelry makes me feel like they are with me. I’ve had Kathleen re-set stones before (I first wrote about her here), but this year I commissioned some pieces where she sourced the stones for me. She can do both! This necklace is the first of 3 pieces and I LOVE it. There are 5 diamonds (all different shapes) that represents mine and Nick’s 5 years of marriage. Our anniversary isn’t until October, but the twins will be here by then, so I’m excited to get it now, wear it early, and celebrate all year long.
Madewell Maternity Jeans. (c/o) I love how these are maternity jeans, but when I am wearing them, they don’t give off super maternity vibes, especially from behind. These are currently a staple for me when I need to leave the house and a dress isn’t the right vibe.
BKR Paris Balm. (c/o) I’m not sure why I haven’t really shared this before, but it is such a good lip balm. I put it on my lips every night before bed and they wake up rejuvenated. It has been especially helpful for my dry pregnancy lips, which is a double doozy considering it is also fire season in LA.
BKR Bottle in Dream. (c/o) While I haven’t included them on my favorites before, I have in fact written about them here. BKRs have been my water bottle of choice for years. This new lavender tint is so dreamy and perfect for staying hydrated this summer. It comes in all sizes, but I prefer the liter, especially now that I’m trying to stay really hydrated during my pregnancy.
Madewell Lucie Dress. (c/o) This is the perfect little dress that works for the bump, but isn’t a maternity style. I really like it because it is loose, flowy, and has working buttons, making it perfect for nursing. Wear it now, but don’t forget about it come autumn, because it will transition perfectly into fall with booties and a moto jacket. I recently styled it here.
Eco by Naty Pregnancy Oil. (c/o) There are loads of {expensive} belly oils on the market, but they don’t have to be expensive to work. I have been using this oil every other night, and exclusively at night when I travel. The bottle doesn’t leak and it is pretty quick to dry / soak into your skin. This is also the diaper brand I plan on using! Use code LMENTSOFSTYLE for 10% off your whole order.
Blackbough Swim Bikini Top and Bottom. (c/o) The most comfy bikini I own right now!! I recently reviewed this brand for you here, but I just wanted to share it with you, because it is packed for my secret trip. The fabric is so soft and the swimmie is super supportive. Not sure what else a pregnant lady could want in a swimsuit!
