Knot Your Basic Look

Knot Your Basic Look

Soprano Bottom Knot Stripe Maxi Dress | Asos Straw Panama Hat | Loeffler Randall Pom Pom Lace Up Sandals | Kendra Scott Sophee Earrings | Essie Smokin' Hot Nail Polish | Arrow Cuff

Okay, okay, when this trend first surfaced, I was like ummm no, not for me; however, that's how I initially felt about the front tuck and I like it now! What am I talking about? The knot!  Everyone is doing it and it is such an effortless way to give your look a little "oomph".

Another great thing about knotting is that isn't outfit specific, meaning that you can do it with skirts, tops and dresses! Do it with your tanks (like I did here) or your dresses / long skirt, like this outfit! It's perfect to accent your middle with a high waisted item or help keep you from tripping over your maxi dress.

If you're looking for a good transition piece, this dress is your girl! It's obviously perfect for spring and summer, but if you're in a Texas fall, you could throw on a chunky grey, long sweater, with some suede booties and call it a day! It's under $50 an oh so classic, but definitely trendy, with the knot!

If the knot is too out there for you, warm up to it, with just a traditional tie front tee and you'll be knotting your tees before the end of summer!

Do you knot your clothes? If "knot", do you think you'll try it out anytime soon? Let me know what you think!
