This may have been my first time staying at The Bungalows at Calistoga in the fall, but itās not my first time at the bungalows and not your first time seeing them. I first shared them here, but recently shared images from their property here and here. Keep reading to see more about our stay and what we did during our time in Napa Valley.

Before I get into our itinerary, I just have to say if you want to stay here, book them now! We were in the area Friday - Tuesday, but were only able to book the bungalows for two of our nights (Sunday and Monday) because they are so popular. Located on a quiet street near downtown Calistoga, the (three) bungalows are an oasisā¦ a true home away from home. From the kitchen, the backyard, to fireplace, the washers and dryers, the only drawback is when your stay is over. The Bungalows will always be special to us because it is where we went on their second road trip / on the way to their first flight. We drove to San Francisco and flew out of SFO. I have so many cute photos (and memories) here in Calistoga and I hope we only continue to grow them.
Last December we stayed in Bungalow A which is the largest bungalow. This time, we stayed in Bungalow B. (889 square feet vs 718 square feet). For this trip, I think Bungalow B was better for our needs. Last time the twins were waking frequently (who doesnāt at 2(ish) months old) and were in bassinets. Bungalow Aās bed is in a nook with a partial wall, but doesnāt have an actual door. Bungalow Bās primary sweet is around the corner from the living space and has a door. We put the twinsā travel cribs in the living room. Nick and I were able to binge the newest Love is Blind in peace- haha!
Intinerary
Friday - We left in the morning drove from Los Angeles to San Francisco, making little stops along the way. We like Epoch Wines in Paso Robles and usually use that a good pit stop, as we are members there. We opted to spend the night in SF.
Saturday - We woke up and spent the morning showing the twins some classic SF spots, ending with Golden Gate Park. After that we started making our way to the valley, by way of Sonoma. We had lunch at the girl and the fig in downtown, and walked around / played in the park. We stopped a couple of wineries, but made the drive to Saint Helena, to have dinner at one of our favorite restaurants Farmstead.
Sunday - We headed to Oxbow Public Market and had coffee and breakfast, then walked across the street to Walt Wines where had a wine and chocolate pairing with Kollar chocolates. It was divine! Next we met up with Mallory from Vine Living and had lunch at Norman Rose Tavern. We popped over to Prime Solum and Expression 38 for an exquisite tasting, then made the short drive to Calistoga to check into The Bungalows. We grabbed take-out from Samās Social Club for dinner - it is so good and is really close to the property! Last time we stayed at The Bungalows, Nick actually walked to get our food!
Monday - We started the day with our friends at Hall Wines, which is always a good time. We are members at both Hall and Walt. We grabbed some brunch on-the-go from The Station in Saint Helena. DO NOT SLEEP ON THIS. It is so yummy. We had a lovely afternoon at Reverie II tasting their wines for the first time. They were so good and their property is gorgeous. I canāt wait to go back and see how their new tasting room build is going. After that, we actually had the first tasting where we were turned away because of twins. A lot of places will say no kids in their email confirmations, but they donāt actually mean it. This place was rather rude about it to say the least. I can respect liability issues, but when you exit their property, thereās actually a āslow, children at playā sign on their private roadā¦ My question is what children?! For the record, Cyprus and Olive were being little angels and were in their stroller, so it wasnāt a behavior issue. Anyway, it worked out for the best, because we were so tired. We grabbed barbecue from Busterās in Calistoga and relaxed the rest of the evening.
Tuesday - We got up early to get on the road asap and make the trek back to Los Angeles.

Napa is really beautiful in every season, but there is something special about fall. Thereās a crispness in the air, mixed with the start of the upcoming season and a lingering of the recent harvest. Have an amazing trip!!
