I introduced y’all to Primally Pure almost a year ago, but I introduced you to natural deodorant almost 2 years ago! I switched to Primally Pure in January of 2018. I began with their lavender deodorant, but switched to their blue tansy deodorant shortly after… then summer came and Nick and I needed more… we then looked to PP’s charcoal deodorant and haven’t looked back since!
Why activated charcoal? What makes it different? From a high level, it’s basically a powerhouse detoxifier! It is “activated” by adding oxygen, which allows it to attract and hold onto debris within its pores. It can’t be absorbed by the body, but can bind to toxins and eliminate them! Perfect for body odor, am I right?!
.Whenever people ask me about natural deodorant and making the switch, they talk about how it isn’t convenient and they neeeed the antiperspirants. Do you know what antiperspirants are and what they are doing to your body? They basically block your body from sweating. Duh. But why is that bad? Your armpits were made to release toxins from your body, so besides containing harsh chemicals, they are keeping all the bad things inside your body!
