Happy Fourth of July Weekend, y'all! I'm so looking forward to the long weekend, I'm sure you are too;)
What are y'all wearing to your celebrations? Don't get me wrong, I've had my share of Fratastic Americana looks, but as I get older, the more I break from that and don't repeat certain styles. Yes, I loved being in a sorority, but those days are past me. I'll turn 25 in a couple of months and some behavior just doesn't look as good if you know what I mean...like a hand painted American flag tank top...not that I ever did that.
I did.
But, anyway, I love finding new ways to dress for old holidays and Fourth of July is no exception. There are lots of ways to dress for it classically, like navy, stripes, or polka dots. I LOVE those; however, this year I was looking for something even more edgy. Okay, well not edgy, but what pushes the traditional envelope. My answer? Rust!
Rust is a color that I have loved for a while. It goes pretty well with my hair, if I do say so myself! I love this dress not only because of the color, but because of the silhouette and pattern as well! It is perfect for 4th of July, but isn't obnoxious and can be worn into the fall!
Do you like the hue rust? What are you wearing for 4th of July?
