Happy summer's eve! Whoops, probably shouldn't say that...BUT tomorrow is the start of summer, so that would technically make it the eve of summer. hah! Being that I'm a summer baby, I'm stoked. I may have just gotten a puppy, but my spirit animal belongs to my 2 cats. There's nothing better than napping in the summer sun! I'll have a summer themed blog post come maƱana, but I wanted to kind of set the tone, with this summer lovin' look!
I love a good palm print pant. Quite frankly, I'm still obsessing over the pair I styled for you last year, so I'm surprised I found another killer pair. What I like about these is that they aren't the obvious, in your face, kind of obnoxious palm print There's a time and a place for the traditional print, but your kind of stuck to wearing them May-August. These pants though, I feel like I could wear through the fall - picture them with a chunky black sweater and some heeled suede mules?! S'cute. I chose to style these with a crop, just because they are a little on the looser side, but a normal black tank or even a denim button down would be darling. I got a medium- they were kind of big, but I feel like I would have preferred the slightly large, instead of getting a small.
I know May kicks off the "summer travel season," but are y'all doing anything fun in the true summer? We just booked a trip to LA, Santa Barbara, and Paso Robles! I have been researching, but send any recs you may have, my way! Anyway, I thought this post would be a good and laid back way to kind of welcome the season. It's like summer, know? Spring is here for like a day and summer rolls in and takes us off guard even though we know it's coming. Hope y'all finish out the week strong! XOXO
