Everyone needs socks, but that doesn't mean they have to be raggedy, old tube socks. In fact, I'd prefer that they not be raggedy, old tube socks, don't you? At least that is what my mom tells my dad;)
In the past several years, trendy socks have been a way for both conservative and fashion forward men alike, to add a little pizzazz to their looks! Fun socks don't cause any disruption during a meeting or cause a distraction for a nearby co-worker. At most, they increase smiles and generate happiness when others notice them.
The great thing about trendy socks, is that they are also very practical. Can you ever really have too many pair? I'm not sure you can and that's what Foot Cardigan believes, too!
Foot Cardigan is sock company that is actually based right here, in Dallas, Texas. Now, if you watch Shark Tank as I religiously do, then you know they aren't just any sock company - they are a subscription sock company. Have you ever heard of a more sensible mailing membership to be a part of? I know I have readers and friends who love beauty boxes, but I could never get into that, because I don't really experiment with makeup. But socks? Heck yes!
So how does it work? You sign up for a sock subscription and that's when the magic begins! For $9 a month, you get a unique pair of socks at your doorstep every 4-5 weeks! It's always a newly designed pair, so it's basically like a Christmas gift that you won't want to return. If you're think that's a lot to pay for a pair of socks, you can't even get a pair of basic, argyle mens dress socks at Wal-Mart for that price! And girls? We already pay more than that for a good pair of boot socks, so why not! And yes, they do offer womens (and youth subscriptions) as well!
Since this is a new-age company, it is very technically savvy, which I love! You can pay monthly, you can pay once for the entire year, they can be for you, they can be a gift for another...and the list goes on and on. What if you don't want a subscription, but still would like a pair of socks? They have you covered with their small batch sock operation! Here they offer a specially designed piece, that will not be in the subscription box and is usually seasonally themed. Oh and remember when I wore these? Those are part of their Mytropolis collection, which can also be purchased individually!
With Valentine's Day, Father's Day, and other miscellaneous gift giving times coming up, this is the gift that keeps on giving, yet won't break the bank! So, how do you feel about crazy socks? I love wear fun socks, they just aren't able to be seen as often guys' socks are!
