A few weeks ago, my parents came over to my apartment for cake and presents, after my birthday dinner. We went through the whole rigmarole and such, and when we moved to chitchat, my dad asked for coffee. Don't get me wrong, I definitely appreciate a good cup of joe; however, I don't keep it on hand. Nick definitely has at least one cup of coffee a day, but he doesn't keep it on hand either. He buys it, or makes some at work.
So what to do? Honestly, I had to be like "um, sorry dad. I have some instant coffee somewhere, that I usually bake with..." Never again, I said! Honestly, so much revolves around coffee! You meet people casually for it, you meet people around it, to discuss intimate feelings, you start and end your day with it, I mean come on...when did you hear someone say "hey, want to meet up for a glass of water?" No, you didn't.
So, how am I making sure this never happens again? By getting a reusable K-cup dispenser, from Walmart! Not only is it "green", but you can put any kind of ground coffee bean in it, that you want. If you know a thing or two about java, then you know that the best coffee is freshly ground. Goodbye pre-made k-cup flavors! Make whatever kind of coffee your guests enjoy, with these reusable ones. I know everyone thinks of a bottle of wine as a gift, but honestly coffee beans are such a good one too! Imagine being able to serve your giver the very bean they gave you, without a hitch! That's what I'm talking about.
So what can you do to step up your hosting game with minimal effort? Keep coffee on hand and 1 up it, by making it to your guest's exact specifications and brewing the coffee they like...not just what is available, thanks to Ekobrew!
