Iāve mentioned it before, but last month was my first time in Denver, besides hanging out at the airport! Iāve heard such great things about the city and it did not disappoint! We arrived late on a Friday, so we didnāt spend any time in Denver then - just went straight to Boulder where we stayed at Hotel Boulderado. Though we spent most of our time in Boulder, we did spend Sunday evening in Denver and then pretty much all Monday before leaving!
Having a drink at Union Station
Brunch at Denver Biscuit Company
That Sunday evening might have been my favorite! We stopped at Avanti for a drink on the rooftop - it has a great view of the city. They have tons of little restaurants inside, or you can just grab a seat at the bar. For dinner we went just around the corner to The Family Jones and it was SO GOOD. They are a distillery and only make cocktails with their in house alcohol, but have a wonderful food menu as well. Was a wonderful experience and I still have dreams about their gingerbread cookie ice cream sandwich dessert featuring Little Man Ice cream!! Monday we ate at Denver Biscuit Co -we split the lola and grabbed sweet potato fries too. #divine After that, we went to the Milk Market and hung around there until it was time to go to the airport.
Flight at The Family Jones
Honestly we could have stayed so much longer - I canāt wait to go back! Hereās a list of everything I mentioned above, plus some other fun things to do if youāre in the area. I included some of the recs we received that looked awesome.
