Cue the confetti! It's 2018, y'all. I like to start out every year with a post dedicated to Pantone's color of the year and this year it is Ultra Violet, a out of this world purple hue. Purple often represents royalty, luxury, power, wealth and ambition. Sounds like good omen for the new year, right?;)

I can def get into this color. I feel like ultra violet is a color that looks good on everyone, so good job, Pantone! Not that you need my approval... Anyway, I rounded up some my favorite purple things, for ya! Whether you just want to accessorize with it or want to don it like a queen, your choice. Just click on any image and it will take you to the direct link. If it won't click through, just refresh the page and it should work!

A couple months into 2017, I dubbed my "word of the year" as natural...more natural products, non-toxic household items, etc. This was spurred by my Cat eating a lily, and kind of started a lifestyle change. For 2018 I decided to create another word of the year, but this year decide on it prior to the New Year and really set the intention. I decided my word of the year for 2018 is BEAUTY. According to Merriam Webster, the definition of beauty is the quality or aggregate of qualities in a person or thing that gives pleasure to the senses or pleasurably exalts the mind or spirit. SO, it will focus on inner beauty and outer beauty, self care,  and more. Got it? I kind of lost myself/didn't leave time for me in the past couple years, so I'm looking to get back to that. It will also easily fit it with my move to cruelty-free and vegan products. So, cheers to more sleep, less snoozing alarms, and me time. Happy New Year! I'm excited to welcome this new year with you! Thanks for reading and letting me do what I love. xoxo.
