Sooo what are you doing for Valentine's Day? When Nick and I started dating 4 years ago, V-day was shortly after our first date #awkward I honestly didn't know if we'd do anything for Valentine's Day until a couple days prior. He ended up having me over for dinner and making me his mom's chicken parm recipe - he's a pro in the kitchen in case you didn't know;) Anyway, it was super low key and ever since then, we have made it a tradition and cook a special meal together! Needless to say, I do not get super fancy shmancy for our meal. Andddd even if we were going out, I probably wouldn't get too fancy, unless it was required.
Anyway, I was thinking about y'all and what you might be doing and that's how I created this outfit! It's not too formal, but definitely not just jeans and a t-shirt kind of look. It's chic, but a little edgy, which I L O V E. It works for a date night or just a night out with your best friends. So black and red, not very original, but definitely a classic! I also love that all of the pieces I'm wearing are versatile and aren't a just a one and done! A black mini skirt is seasonless with the proper layer techniques, my black suede moto jacket is a staple and can be worn with pretty much anything, and my over the knee boots are one of my top 10 purchases of 2017! See the full list here. I'd say the only piece in question depending on your personal style, would be the lace insert camisole. It's wearable for work and play, just depends on your wardrobe color palette! It does come in more of a neutral if that's what you prefer though.
