A month or two ago, I had a follower reach out and ask that I cover denim. Jeans after college/school are kind of on a different level, as it's time to invest, and she was looking for some guidance. So, I decided to team up with The Blues Jean Bar, to bring you a fall denim guide! Without further ado, here's my top 3 pair of jeans this fall:

1) The Flare. You've probably been inundated with flares on your Instagram feed. The whole 70's vibe is very in, so obviously flares are too. Honestly, I feel like kind of a poser wearing these. Can you take me seriously in them? (haha) I love J. Brand's classic take on them, but I'm also kind of infatuated with Rag and Bone's version. With R&G's you can dress them up or down, but with J. Brand's they are only able to be dressed up, due to their dark coloring and smooth silhouette. Either way, it's a super fun trend and one worth taking part of if you are interested. If you do, don't throw them out when they aren't "in" anymore...they'll come back in, in about 10 years time;) The J. Brand pair that I listed is awesome quality, but I know most people won't want to pay that much for a fad. So, I found a couple pair that were under $100! (here , here and here)

2) The Boyfriend. This trend is super popular as well, and it is no wonder. What woman wouldn't like wearing a looser fitting pant, that is equally as classy?! Talk about comfort central! I like bf jeans because they can easily be paired with a fun pump to dress them up or a cool bootie to keep them semi-casual. They're also perfect for the fashion sneaker trend! These jeans follows suit to the "oversize" trend, which is still pretty in, in the fashion scene. I'm personally dreading the day when the fad starts flipping, and fitted everything is popular once again. I'm not sure that it ever will, but in the event that you do think this is just a current trend, here are some finds under $100. (here, here, and here)

3) The Skinny. Saving the best for last, in my opinion. I don't see the skinny going out anytime soon, just like I don't see dark denim going out either. There was a time when light denim was king, but I'm pretty sure it's reign is over. Yeah, you can still rock it and everything, but I don't think its popularity will ever knock out the dark denim skinny! If you are going to invest in any of these 3 pieces, this is your one to do so with! You can wear these with any shoe, top, or accessory and still look fabulous. The DL pair I'm wearing is actually the Blues Jean Bar's best selling piece.  If you didn't believe me when I said they are the best to invest in, you should at least believe me now! Money talks, people! They are one of the softest pair of jeans I have ever worn AND they don't stretch out after a long day of wearing them. Can you say score?! If you can't invest right now, here's a couple pairs that will tide you over until you can. These are also under $100. (here, here, and here)

What do you think? Which is your favorite silhouette? I paired my jeans with the same top and basic accessories because I wanted you to notice the pant and not me. Did it work? I hope so!

Are you needing to update your wardrobe? Even if you're not, come see me this Thursday, October 15th and find the jeans of your dreams! There will be mini cupcakes by Lala's Cakes, L'Conti Sparkling Wine, and 15% off the entire Blues Jean Bar store, in Snider Plaza! If you're looking to invest in jeans, The Blues Jean Bar is your ultimate destination!  Their employees will give you a custom jean fitting and make sure you look your best. When I went in for my fitting, they even sized me down - something I didn't think I needed, but actually ended up liking! Anyway, if you're in Dallas Thursday night, I'd love to meet you! Feel free to join my Facebook Event group here and/or like my Facebook page for future event updates!!
