Before I start, I just want to talk about the photos in the beginning. Like WHAT. The pictures don't even capture the beauty of experiencing the sunset in person. It was unreal! They were taken at Sugar Beach, a Viceroy resort, in Saint Lucia. It was super close to the second place we stayed, so we went to catch the sunset and eat at their ocean front restaurant. We also went to their beach during the day, but that's another post, for another time ;) ANYWAY, on to the main topic...
I always preach about versatility, but if I don't show you it from time to time, I'm not actively practicing, which is important to me. I talk about wearing things more than one way, but am a visual learner, so I figure most of y'all are too! I started doing "The Art of Versatility" posts around August and have really enjoyed them, so I thought I'd do it once again. If you want to see them, you can catch up on the series by reading "Gingham Top 3 Ways" and "Lace Dress 3 Ways". Yes, this post only has 2 ways, but it has a little bit of a different spin. The first styling was done on Sugar Beach in Saint Lucia, whereas the second styling in right here, in Dallas.
When I first bought this dress, I mentioned to everyone that I would style it both for summer and fall, so here's proof! I think it styles elegantly either way. Really this could be a Dallas fall look, and a winter look. Swap my booties in the first look (did you see my insta of it here?), for sandals, and it's a Dallas summer look, or even spring for that matter. See? I just mentally styled it for you, for year-round wear! Yes, it has a $136 price tag, but if you can wear it throughout most seasons, then the cost per wear goes down. (don't know about CPW? learn more here)
It is more of a summer style of dress, but I honestly think that I may like the fall version a tad more? What about y'all? Which do you like better? What would you style it with? What's your favorite thing to style and wear throughout the year? Seasonless items are the best!
Keep up with all of my Saint Lucia posts! Catch up by reading my honeymoon packing list and New Name, New Purse: Personalized Crossbody Pouch, and I wore the Same Workout Clothes for a week and this is what happened.
