I've been crushing on Trader Joe's since they came to Texas, around 2012. Now these days I don't leave my house to head to the grocery story much thanks to Amazon Fresh, but I do enter into Whole Foods around once a week for fresh fish, and Trader Joe's around once a month, for some goodies. I say goodies, because Trader Joe's doesn't have your average products. The majority of their products are their own and private labeled. They cut out the middle man and work straight with their suppliers, which cuts down heavily on cost. BUT I honestly don't know what is more impressive...their quality products or the low price point. I will say that I can't get ALL of my groceries there, but I can get the vast majority.
Trader Joe's is like a grocery playground. There's something new and fun around each corner, but even though it is smaller than your average grocer, it can still at times it can be overwhelming. SO to help you along, here are my top 13 favorite items to buy from TJ's . Let me say they are my current favorite items, because I'm sure they'll come out with something new to excite me. In no particular order, here we go!

1) FRESH FLOWERS.
Price for one bunch of hydrangeas: $5.99
You really can't beat their selection or prices. I'm anxiously awaiting their first batch of tulips, this spring!

2) CARMELIZED ONION DIP.
Price: $2.99
I tasted this last fall at their little sample station. They paired it with pumpkin chips, which was weird, but divine! It's like any onion dip that you would buy, BUT the carmelized onions make all the difference. It tastes good with normal corn chips, too. Buy it to get the best appetizer award!

3) FRESH PRODUCE.
Price for a banana: 19 cents
Price for organic banana: 49 cents
I shared the banana prices, because that is the easiest to compare. TJ's organic bananas are the same price as normal bananas anywhere else! You'd think this would result in faulty produce, but it's actually spectacular.

4) DARK CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER CUPS.
Price: $3.99
I love keeping these around the house for a little something-something. Eat them alone, or put them in the middle of your favorite peanut butter cookie!

5) WHITE TRUFFLE POTATO CHIPS
Price: $2.99
I accidentally found these last Halloween. They are SO dangerous, but SO delicious.

6) CRUNCHY SALTED PEANUT BUTTER w/ FLAX & CHIA SEEDS.
Price: $2.99
This is the only peanut butter I have ever found that has such a short ingredient list and no added sugar. The ingredients are only roasted peanuts, chia seeds, flax seeds, and sea salt!! I put it on whole wheat toast, with cinnamon. If I want a little extra, I include half of a banana, and some honey.

7) HONEY GOAT CHEESE LOG.
Price: $3.79
Nick and I have been using this cheese for a while now. It tastes great with crackers, but we love putting it on pizzas with caramelized onions!

8) WHITE CHEDDAR POPCORN.
Price: $1.69
I love keeping this around for an easy snack. It's light and hits the spot. It has other flavors as well!

9) CAULIFLOWER: CAULIFLOWER PIZZA CRUST and RICED CAULIFLOWER.
Price for Cauliflower Pizza Crust: $3.99
Price for Riced Cauliflower: $2.49
I included this in one, because their cauliflower products are impeccable. We buy both of these products frequently for dinners. They also have a frozen bag of cauliflower rice, but I usually just buy the fresh.

10) FREEZE DRIED RASPBERRIES.
Price: $3.99
I have recently fallen for freeze dried fruit and I think raspberries are the best, because they are sour, yet sweet. These are around $2 cheaper than other ones, which makes them even better!

11) FROZEN STIR-FRY VEGETABLES.
Price: $2.69
I use this along with the cauliflower rice and make CF fried rice! Trader Joe's whole frozen section is amazing though, so you're bound to find something you like.

12) DARK CHOCOLATE FILLED w/ SPECULOOS COOKIE SPREAD.
Price: 99 cents
The first thing I ever ventured to TJ's to buy was cookie butter, so it's only fitting that I include this candy bar. It is so yummy and not your average purchase.

13) FROZEN UNSWEETEENED ORGANIC ACAI PUREE PACKETS.
Price: $4.49
It's hard to find such easy to use Acai. I love throwing them in smoothies for added antioxidants.
